"We were visiting south Italy and our flights had an overnight stay in Rome. I ended up booking a room at Villa Alma for the night as it is close to the airport. The taxi from the airport dropped us at the entrance to the street instead of driving us to the front of the building. The driver was also rude and dismissive. It was late when we arrived. So about 10:30pm. Normally check in to Villa Alma closes at 9pm but the owner (Opi??) was waiting for us outside to guide us to the building. Since the taxi did not take us all the way to the door, we were not clear which building to go to but Opi waiting for us outside really helped. Opi was furious that the taxi driver was rude and also made us walk. When we told him what we paid for the ride, he told us he overcharged us and that was wrong. He said he was planning to go to the airport in the morning so he could drop us off as well. We went for a walk and had dinner. This is a nice neighborhood with a canal running through it. It has bridges over it. The view is nice. Also there are plenty of restaurants and bars open in very easy walking distance. We enjoyed our walk a lot. It seems this neighborhood has some festivals in summer so it might be good to go back. Anyway the room was clean, smelled good, well maintained and overall pleasant. We stayed at the room in the first floor (half a flight of walk up) Opi had a breakfast ready for us when we got up in the morning. He had juice, filled croissants, yogurt, coffee, tea etc. Overall I would say the breakfast was nice. He ended up driving us to the airport (along with somebody who works there) as he promised and refused to take money to make up for the bad treatment we had by the taxi driver the night before. We insisted but he refused it. Such a nice guy who made us feel good and happy to meet him. In general I prefer to not to write negative only reviews. But I made sure to write when somebody goes above and beyond. So in general this stay was definitely a good one."

"mable, and the view of Lake Garda is splendid. I recommend it to couples You can park your car for free in the hotel parking lot. The Spa services are good. It is more difficult to get down to the lake without a personal car, the distance being quite long and on the slope. On the other hand, there are enough parking lots in the city"

"A wonderful hotel, set in a great location above lake Garda. The place is modern, yet offers a traditional service. The restaurant is first class offering a good menu with lots of choice. The wellness aea is beautifully laid out with soft lighting and giving a relaxing area to unwind. The spa offer very good massages as well. I would recommend this hotel."

"ヴェネツィア観光の後、ガルダ湖を見下ろす丘陵地帯にあるこの美しいホテルで5泊の家族旅行を楽しみました。大人2名と12歳の子供1名で快適な部屋（湖の景色が見えるジュニアスイート）を共有し、素敵な屋外プールと温水屋内プール（滞在中は5日間とも少し嵐のような天気でしたが、スパ施設の料金を支払うことなく屋内プールも利用できました）とジムを存分に利用しました。屋外プールは手入れの行き届いた日陰の庭園の中にあり、サンラウンジャーは常に空いていました。テラスはカクテルを飲みながら夕日を眺めるのに最適です。ここは「大人向け」のホテルで、子供連れの家族もいましたが、騒がしくも賑やかでもありませんでした（例えば、プールでは浮き輪の使用は禁止されており、プールは午後7時に閉まります）。初日の夜はホテルのレストランで食事をしましたが、メニューが少し凝りすぎているように感じ、前菜の選択肢も少なかったです。しかし、2日目のレストランでは絶品のピザを注文し、素晴らしい生演奏を聴きながら、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。小さなジムと、庭で行われる無料の朝のヨガセッションも利用しました。ガルダ湖までは車でわずか10分で、ホテルには湖畔に専用駐車場があり、とても便利でした。テーマパークやウォーターパーク、湖周辺の小さな町へも簡単にアクセスできます。車で20分ほどの距離にある、とても美しいテリ・デル・ベナコへの旅行は本当におすすめです。スタッフは親切で協力的で、ビュッフェスタイルの朝食は素晴らしく、オムレツは注文を受けてから作ってくれました。このホテルに5つ星評価を付けなかった唯一の理由は、部屋に小型冷蔵庫はあったものの、電気ケトルがなかったことです。電気ケトルがあればもっと良かったのですが。また、レストランとプールサイドバーの料理は種類が限られていて値段も高かったため、ほとんど毎晩夕食のために車で出かけなければなりませんでした。しかし、景色と設備だけでもこのホテルはおすすめです。次回は旅行用の電気ケトルを持参して、必ずまた泊まりたいと思います。"

"We loved Residence San Michele and would definitely return. Our villa was clean, comfortable and superb view. Bathroom is a bit outdated but super clean, everything in working order and water pressure is great. Comfortable for a family of four. The common areas are beautiful, the swimming pool is excellent and even with a full hotel, we always found good chairs by the pool. Breakfast was also enjoyable and the 5 min drive to Guarda, a plus. Highly recommended for families."
