"There are many very good reasons why we come back here time and time again. These are the most comfortable mattresses we have ever slept on, the views of the marshes and shrimp boats passing by on the Darien River are so relaxing. The breakfast is tasty and filling and is always a good start to the day in Darien. The Darien Waterfront Inn is always a must for us when travelling on I-95. JoAnn and David will make you feel at home from the moment you pass through the front door."

"Rooms are beautifully decorated, beds are comfortable, breakfasts are delicious, hospitality is the best, and we always meet many interesting guests from all over the country. We feel like family when there and always look forward to our next chance to visit. Oh, and the view over the marsh from our section of the screened in porch is always a bit different every day. Sunrise, sunset, or any time. And the birds that visit the bird feeders or live in the big live oak in the yard entertain with their music. We've never been disappointed. We also have time to visit historical places in the area, keep up with local friends, or just sit on the porch to read, listen to music, or have great conversations with other guests. Did I mention the good food, especially fresh seafood in area restaurants."
