「I was surprised at how nice the hotel room accommodations were. The rooms were excellent, roomy, the bar refrigerator was an extra large refrigerator, full sink and plenty of storage place. I didn’t realize that the hotel was Immediately next to the top of the Powder Monkey ski lift. Incredibly convenient to start your snowboarding day. We really appreciated the included breakfast which was pretty solid.」

This 2 bedroom Allegheny Springs Penthouse unit at Snowshoe may have the most Spectacular views of any place on the mountain. Allegheny Springs is the premiere location at Snowshoe and includes access to heated private pool and hot tub. There is a 24-hr concierge at the front desk to make check in and luggage easy. This penthouse unit is one of a kind and is located on the slope side of the building with high ceilings, larger square footage (than other 2 bedroom Allegheny units), and has some of the most breathtaking views on the mountain. Each Bedroom contains two queen beds and an attached en suite bathroom. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room as well. In total there are 5 Queen beds in the unit. There is a full kitchen with cookware, plates and utensils provided. A Keurig Duo coffee maker allows you to brew a single cup or your own ground coffee in a pot. The unit comes with two ski lockers (you can also store your mountain bikes in the locker room) and the slopes are immediately adjacent to the building. Go for a few runs, pop your skis in the convenient ski locker, relax in the hot tub or heated pool and then hit the slopes again. Allegheny Springs is the only building on the mountain with a private heated pool exclusively reserved for Allegheny guests.Snowshoe is also a certified IMBA ride center, with one of the largest trail systems in the East and host to the GNCC off-road racing series & Mercedes-Benz UCI World Cup. Other summer activities include 40+ hiking/biking trails for every skill level, multiple music festivals, horseback riding w/Autumn Breeze Stables, and off-road tours. Clean, spacious condo that has recently been renovated to include new appliances, new flooring, granite counter tops, stainless steel refrigerator, new furniture, bar/island and newly renovated bathrooms. Corner unit with MORE WINDOWS than non end unit. Comfortably accommodates 8 people and great for families. 2 bedrooms have queen beds and full dressers, 3rd bed room has 4 bunk beds. Full kitchen appliances, dishes and flatware. Keurig coffee maker and local phone line. Full washer and dryer. Smart TV. Gas fireplace with easy on/off switch for cozy apres ski. Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 full bath in Summit with only a 5 minute walk or free shuttle bus from your door to the village and slopes! Sleeps 8 comfortably. Enjoy the indoor fireplace, grill on the patio, fully stocked kitchen, 65 in smart/roku tv, plush beds and fresh linens. Wildcat grocery is right up the drive way or a 5 minute walk. The patio has some stunning views and be ready to see the deer come by almost daily! Perfect for a family trip or romantic getaway. There are steps required to get to the condo. Still not convinced? New Day Dawns condo is conveniently located across the street from Snowshoe Village with easy access to the central ski area including the Skidder Ski School area.

A FREE shuttle picks up just outside the condo adjacent to the parking area for Summit. You will be given two parking passes for your vehicles. (There is an overflow parking lot not far away for an extra vehicle.) New Day Dawns is located on the first floor which is one flight of stairs down from the parking area (or a short walk to the side where there are two steps). The unit is NOT “handicap accessible” but could be negotiated by some with physical limitations.
Upon entering, a “lock-out” area is available for ski gear and clothing after your day skiing or boarding. A second door opens into the hallway where you will find 3 bedrooms (1-Q, 1-F/D, & 2-Twins) and 2 full baths for your stay. Fresh quality linens adorn the beds (duvet system) and a healthy selection of pillows of varying firmness are provided. This condo accommodates up to 8 people (if you wish to add up to 2 more, this must be approved by the owner). Bathrooms have linens and basic supplies though you should bring your favorite soaps and shampoos. In the hallway, a washer/dryer is available for your use (please bring your own detergent and dryer sheets). Extra linens and pillows are also located on the linen shelves next to the W/D.
The living room is spacious with a comfortable couch that expands into a queen-sized bed for an additional guest. An inflatable queen-sized mattress is also available. Rounding out the room is a leather double recliner couch, coffee table, and side tables. A beautiful and functional gas fireplace is there for your use to provide just the right temperature for your group chats or while you watch movies or cable TV on the flat-screen TV. Wifi and cable are provided.
The dining room is small and seats 6 comfortably, but there is also seating for three at the kitchen bar. A pantry is provided in this area to store items for your meals. The Kitchen is galley-style with all amenities: coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, stovetop/oven, mixer, blender, a smaller slow-cooker, and a few more items to make those hearty and yummy meals. Basic spices are provided and you are welcome to leave behind any non-perishable cooking supplies as a gift for future guests. Basic kitchen-related items are provided (dish & dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, coffee filters, etc.) There are plenty of pots, pans, and utensils to make things easy for you. I would suggest bringing your own omelet pan or other “necessary” cookware as nothing is like what you love using at home ;) … but I try to provide quality items as backups. A landline phone is also made available as mobile service is negligible on Snowshoe Mountain.

A deck is just outside the Living Room through a large glass door that reveals the setting sun, dropping over the western mountains and dark green conifers adorning the valley below (the last few photos were shot from the deck). Four deck chairs and table are available (along with using the dining room chairs) to gather together for drinks on the deck. A community fire pit is available just a bit down from the unit for an evening of hanging out by a fire. From here you can also see the occasional deer or snowshoe hare moving along the back of the condos at the edge of the woods. Quiet, beauty, and relaxation all await you at New Day Dawns Condo.
RATES & AVAILABILITY: Weekends will probably fill up fast so decide soon. Lower rates are available for weekdays and there is a nice discount for weekly or longer stays. I do make special “last minute” deals to fill the unit so just check in with me if you have a sudden urge to get away and you see a few open days that work for you. (Choose “Inquiry” along with dates.)
EARLY & LATE DEPARTURES: If we can accommodate an early arrival or a late departure, we are happy to do so. Some folks like to ski the day they arrive or the day they depart and we want to help you squeeze every drop of powder out of your stay! Just communicate as early as you can and we will attempt to make that happen for you. Additional Fees do apply.
ACCESS: We offer a "no-touch" check-in. The door is an electronic code door lock that will be pre-set for your visit, using the last 4 digits of the VRBO guest's phone number on file. If the lock should malfunction, there is a “realtor box” between the storm door and the front door with a spare key, set to a code that will be communicated before check-in.
The unit is one of the Summit original style units with lots of wood and nostalgia … it is not like the modern home-style units offered elsewhere (see photos). It is family-friendly, clean, well-maintained, and should prove to be a very comfortable stay. If you have suggestions as to how I could make your next stay better, please let me know. If something is not right with the unit, you can call my service number (located near the phone) and I will do my best to meet your needs. Also, I will be offering a “frequent flyer” discount for returning guests, so start planning for next winter, create and "Inquiry" which will alert me and then I will contact you with a discount BEFORE you book.
SUMMER-TIME! Be sure to consider a summer visit. Snowshoe in the summer is lovely with warm days and cool nights. There are many close attractions like the Greenbrier River Trailhead, Bald Knob Observation Deck, and the railway town of Cass with its wood-fired steam locomotive scenic rides through the West Virginia mountains. Less than 2 hours away are the amazing Greenbrier Hotel and the now-decommissioned Greenbrier Bunker, once a top-secret Federal Gov’t national emergency shelter for the Whitehouse and Congress … hidden for 30 years from the public in plain sight!
Indoors for the day, maybe a rain-day or needing a reading retreat? 106A Is a great spot to read, meditate, or have family and friend conversations. A rail-rocker chair with cushions perches on the sitting area facing out the double glass doors, looking west over the neighboring mountains. Good lighting and a cup of coffee or tea or a delicious adult-beverage with a good book - Heaven! #BookTok #ReadingRetreat

Some folks like to ski the day they arrive or the day they depart and we want to help you squeeze every drop of powder out of your stay! ACCESS: We offer a "no-touch" check-in. The door is an electronic code door lock that will be pre-set for your visit, using the last 4 digits of the VRBO guest's phone number on file. If the lock should malfunction, there is a “realtor box” between the storm door and the front door with a spare key, set to a code that will be communicated before check-in.
The unit is one of the Summit original style units with lots of wood and nostalgia … it is not like the modern home-style units offered elsewhere (see photos). It is family-friendly, clean, well-maintained, and should prove to be a very comfortable stay. If you have suggestions as to how I could make your next stay better, please let me know. If something is not right with the unit, you can call my service number (located near the phone) and I will do my best to meet your needs. Also, I will be offering a “frequent flyer” discount for returning guests, so start planning for next winter, create and "Inquiry" which will alert me and then I will contact you with a discount BEFORE you book.
SUMMER-TIME! Be sure to consider a summer visit. Snowshoe in the summer is lovely with warm days and cool nights. There are many close attractions like the Greenbrier River Trailhead, Bald Knob Observation Deck, and the railway town of Cass with its wood-fired steam locomotive scenic rides through the West Virginia mountains. Less than 2 hours away are the amazing Greenbrier Hotel and the now-decommissioned Greenbrier Bunker, once a top-secret Federal Gov’t national emergency shelter for the Whitehouse and Congress … hidden for 30 years from the public in plain sight!
Indoors for the day, maybe a rain-day or needing a reading retreat? 106A Is a great spot to read, meditate, or have family and friend conversations. A rail-rocker chair with cushions perches on the sitting area facing out the double glass doors, looking west over the neighboring mountains. This space adopted a Darwin’s Fox - Travel with Purpose when you stay with us and assist in global efforts to help save this beautiful endangered species! This is an older condo complex; however, the location of condo is amazing! To clarify, the space is meant to serve the purpose of being able to enjoy being in a fabulous location to "hang your hat", sleep, and provide some of the conveniences of home by having a small kitchen space!
Bottom level of Top of the World has a restaurant in winter season and snow ski lift tickets and equipment rental! Easy elevator access and luggage racks to transport your items up to your condo! Kitchen is outfitted with pots, pans, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils, etc. to cook while on your mountain getaway! Comfy couch, living room chair, flat screen TV and high-top counter with stools! Coffee table is custom made by your host - if you have interest in custom made/live-edge furniture - let your host know!! Bathroom has shower/tub and Bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed! Linens & Towels now included (1 queen bed / 1 queen pullout)! There is no air conditioner in the space however there are ceiling fans and portable fan.
You may use the coin-operated laundry facility just steps away down the hall from condo - bring your own detergent!

The whole condo is for your enjoyment in addition to coin operated washer and dryer down the hall! We are just a call or text away!

Skip the long line at check in and head straight to your condo. This unit provides sleeping accommodations for 8 (king, 2 queens and queen sleeper sofa), full size washer and dryer, new appliances and well stocked kitchen with griddle, crock pot and Cuisinart single serve and carafe coffee maker. Cozy up to an electric fireplace after a long day of skiing and enjoy the provided family games and puzzles. Comfortable mattresses and black out curtains ensure a good night's rest for another day on the slopes.
Silvercreek slopes offer night skiing, multiple wide trails and a terrain park! It is the home of the Coca-Cola snow tubing park and the ONLY snow tubing park on the mountain. Perfectly situated, our condo is just a five-minute walk to the village and slopes, or you can hop on the free shuttle that picks you up directly outside the condo! The Split Rock pool is also a short walk or shuttle ride away, where you can enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, and sauna for just $15 a day. While the Summit complex doesn’t have its own hot tub, the amenities nearby more than make up for it.
The Space:
Kitchen: Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including a crockpot. We’ve provided some spices and olive oil to get you started. Enjoy the convenience of a traditional drip coffee maker, high-quality pots and pans, utensils, and more.
Family Room: Relax in the family room, featuring new high-end furniture and comfortable seating for eight. Enjoy a cozy evening by the gas fireplace while watching your favorite shows on the smart TV.
Dining Area: The dining area offers seating for six, with additional seating for three at the kitchen counter, perfect for family meals or entertaining guests.
Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom: Queen bed with Roku TV and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 1: Double bed with a smart TV.
Bedroom 2: Four twin beds (two bunk beds).
Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms with tubs. The master bathroom features a luxurious heated towel rack. Sheets and bath towels are provided for your convenience.

Additional Information: Our condo is on the top (third) floor, ensuring you have the best views and no noise from above. You’ll need to walk up one flight of stairs from the parking lot.
Grocery Information: The closest grocery store is an hour away, so be sure to bring plenty of food if you plan to cook. There is a Dollar Store at the bottom of the mountain that sells some food, and the Wildcat Grocery Store on the mountain has limited items. For those who prefer dining out, there are plenty of restaurants in the village.
Please note: Late check-out during ski season is unlikely due to the cleaners' availability.

You couldn't ask for a better location on the mountain....Imagine being so close to the slopes that you can talk to skiers as they slide past the deck of this alpine-inspired villa. The Powder Monkey lift is a few steps away, as is the Western Territory where expert skiers take on Cupp Run and Shay's Revenge. The Whistlepunk beginner trail is right out the door.
It's an easy walk to the village, from this ground floor villa..... five minutes or less, where you can find dining, entertainment, and great shopping! A shuttle bus stop is located just a few yards from the door, so... just park your car directly in front of the villa and leave it! (There are stairs down to the villa that is located "slope level")
The villa is well-furnished with all of the comforts of home, including 2 flat screen TVs, full-size washer/dryer. The entire condo has been recently remodeled. There are even flannel sheets on all of the beds and heated indoor boot and ski storage!
Enjoy one of the nicest fireplaces on the mountain and we supply the Duraflame fire logs.
'Slopeside Attraction' will be your favorite ski destination for years to come!!!
