"There's a shuttle from Bologna Airport to Ferrara, stopping right outside the hotel. It's close to all the city's sights. The single room is small, with a view of the Este Castle towers. There's a fridge, but everything else is standard. The only mirror is in the bathroom; I'd like one in the room, too. The receptionists were very helpful; they helped me find trains because there was a strike. The breakfast was excellent—hot and sweet, and even blue cheese, nuts, and chocolate. I loved everything. The TV wasn't working (the antenna was broken), but they fixed it within five minutes of me reporting it."

"One night's experience, in a Superior room on the second floor, with a frescoed ceiling, very spacious, as was the bathroom... Some might say it's a bit "lived in," but in my opinion it has its charm and a sense of... history... Overlooking the main street, in front of the Teatini Church, with the windows closed there was no noise from the street... Breakfast was standard, don't expect the breakfasts of large international hotels, but a good variety of sweet and savory, with desserts I think from the nearby pastry shop of the same name, which was closed for holidays during our short stay... The reception staff were kind and welcoming... I forgot to mention the centrality of the hotel: a few meters from the Castle, and convenient for walking to other popular destinations in Ferrara..."

"Spotlessly clean hotel in a prime location. Wonderfully peaceful, yet only a two minute walk from some excellent bars and restaurants. Remote check in was easy. Double room was spacious and the bathroom was both large and with a fantastic shower. Bed was far and away the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Met the owner on the first day of my stay. She was wonderfully helpful and took time out to point me towards the best spots in Ferrara (in flawless English). Was impressed that whilst doing this she was also dealing with queries from other guests in both Italian and French. Will definitely stay here again."

"The only positive point is the proximity to the centre, and the welcome was not just a pleasant thing: the lady that received us was visiblely angry, and when we had difficulty finding the parking, she re-connected the phone to our face. The room was inviable, with an insuportable humidity and warmth that made it impossible to sleep; although we had turned off the heat at midnight, after just an hour, the situation was not improved. The guests of the nearby rooms (probably students) made noise at 3 o'clock, going and coming from the car next to our bed. As if it was not enough, the continuous lock of the door they opened and closed made the whole thing even more annoying."
