"I had hoped that the negative reviews from previous years—about poorly cleaned, outdated rooms and subpar food—would no longer apply after the recent renovations. Unfortunately, not much seems to have changed. The rooms are passable, but details disappoint: one small (warm) bottle of water for four people, and cheap plastic cups instead of proper glasses. Dinner service is Michelin-level in terms of formality and presentation—but the food is just as underwhelming as past reviews suggest. Breakfast was, however, on another level entirely—the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had (and I’ve stayed at over 150 hotels). The selection was minimal, and the overall quality resembled something from a low-budget school cafeteria. Dinner is included in the half-board package, but we ended up choosing a nearby restaurant just five minutes away instead. Frankly, I would rather pay extra not to eat at this hotel than the other way around—even though I’d already paid for it. Also worth noting: lunch service ends at 12:00, and the beach restaurant only serves a toast and a very uninspired frozen pizza."
