"Enchanting and wonderful! Flawless and authentic. Poetic and practical. Let’s start with the hosts: Valerie and Paul are charming, warm, welcoming and always making sure their guests feel at home. They both speak perfect English (Paul is totally fluent). My wife (American, NYC born) and I (French, Paris born), had an amazing 3 night stay at La Cascade Parfumée. We are both very picky and seasoned travelers, and we usually never bother writing reviews,… but everything has a first, and the place deserves that we share our experience. The location is ideal, the grounds are spectacular, the flowers, trees and fluttering butterflies are out of this world. The two pools are fantastic. Only 5 spacious suites, so in essence, it always feels like you are the only guests. Food is authentically Provençal and please do not get me started on the homemade jams (the mirabelle plum and the lemon are out of this world). If you are looking for understated luxury and authenticity, you should not miss the experience. … and if you are lucky enough to stay there while Clovis is visiting (The hosts early 20’s year old son), you are in for a musical treat: he plays the 2nd floor concert piano like no other and shares his passion for Rachmaninov, Chopin, Ravel and all the piano giants. In short: a truly magical place that looks beautiful, smells beautiful and tastes beautiful . Enjoy your one in a lifetime stay ! Cheers ! François & Kory"

"It's a beautiful accommodation where everything is just right. A pool, a lovely twin-bedded room with a shower and window, a fantastic breakfast, and Francois, a super-charming and gracious host who also cooks excellent meals in the evenings upon request. What more could a guest want? We can wholeheartedly and warmly recommend Francois and his chambre d'hote. Grasse is also relatively untouristy and well-located for attractive mountain villages or Cannes. Francois is happy to provide tips for excursions and parking options."

"A beautifully restored house, thoughtfully curated with antiques relevant to the family and location, each with its own story to tell, including the magnificent Carrara marble bath in our room. The rooms are large, airy and luxurious, with exceptional quality linens and elegant styling that made for a restful stay. Paul is an outstanding host - casual, welcoming and knowledgeable, with wonderful suggestions that made our time in Grasse even more special. Meals are prepared with ingredients sourced from the property, giving a truly homemade and authentic experience. The terrace, with its sweeping view, is simply to die for. An unforgettable stay and we would gladly return to this truly special place."

"We are local residents near the Bastide Saint-Antoine in Valbonne and have long been familiar with its reputation, especially with Chef Jacques Chibois at the helm. Eager to celebrate a special occasion, we booked a night at the Bastide for February 14th, making our reservation well in advance. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by both the concierge and car valet, whose service was exemplary. Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant did not meet expectations. Despite our early booking, we were seated in the breakfast room rather than the main restaurant, which was already full. The menu's originality and the combinations of flavors were underwhelming and did not reflect what one would expect from a Michelin-starred establishment. Additionally, the wine list was limited, offering only seven white wines, and when I ordered two glasses of champagne, we were served from an arbitrary bottle without any choice provided. As someone who has always trusted Relais & Châteaux to deliver refined experiences, I found this visit did not offer good value for money and, regrettably, I cannot recommend Bastide Saint-Antoine based on this experience. "
