We stayed one night on a trip back to Canada from Florida. It is a wonderful hotel. Super clean, organized, friendly and accommodating staff, extremely quiet hotel. Didn't hear a peep and it was nearly full. We were late for breakfast, but the staff went into their kitchen and brought us bunch of things. I will always stay here on our trips back and forth and I will look for Avid hotels where ever I travel. I have no complaints about anything. It was so relaxed and welcoming, and the best clean and of course brand new. I loved it.
This place was crowded with barely any parking left. Though there would be a lot of noise in the hallways but the night ended up being very quiet. Hotel is very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful for local restaurants choices.
Not a bad place, very close to town and front office staff friendly but housekeeping is rude and some guy was able to figure out my room number an started harassing me, I would hope he wasn't given the number by staff because that is not a good look to be telling just anybody your guests information.
We stayed on the first floor and the rooms are in need of upgrading. No elevator for. The second floor, desk clerk was very nice, breakfast needed i improvement with meat such as sausage or bacon! Coffee was good, could use variety of fruit, and only one selection.
We were in town for the memorial service of a close friend. So we just needed a place to lay our heads for 1 night. The updates that were done to hotel make it more modern with a traditional feel. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. Breakfast was yummy and the coffee was good too (I am kind of a coffee snob). Our room was updated in decor. It could use some updates to the doors and popcorn paint (which I know is common in this area of VA). Pillows were ample, not as comfortable as I would prefer. We were able to secure rooms next door to our friends. We did make that request at the time of reservation. Staff was kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend!
Nice looking hotel from the outside, but that was the extent. Bed linens were torn with material coming out. We went to use the pull out couch bed and it was dirty from the last use and smelled strong of urine. Shower pressure was only the highlite, the toilets barely flush. Wallpaper and pictures coming apart, vent fan in the bathroom had not been cleaned in months. Bottom line not worth the money.
By far the best La Quinta Inn I have ever been to. Will surly stay here again. The bed were comfortable, hot breakfast in the the morning was awesome. They had 3 fruit juices and 3 different fruits. The rooms are also well kept and clean. The check inn and check out was also easy.
