"The way this motel has handled our situation is absolutely unacceptable. Yes, we booked a non-refundable room we are aware of that. But we reached out over a week in advance to explain that we cannot attend because we have urgent medical appointments. This isn’t a casual change of plans. This is genuine, unavoidable, and important. Instead of showing even a shred of understanding, all they offered was 50% as a credit that must be used within 3 months. That is completely useless to us. We cannot travel there within that time. It’s not a refund it’s just forcing us to spend more money later, and it helps them, not us. It feels like they’re hiding behind policy instead of acting like actual humans. Policies should not override compassion, especially when guests are dealing with medical issues. Most decent businesses would make an exception under these circumstances, but not this one. They clearly care far more about squeezing every dollar out of people than doing what’s right. The whole experience has been cold, unhelpful, and unbelievably frustrating. We will never stay here again, and we’ll be warning others to avoid this place if they expect fairness, flexibility, and basic empathy."

"greta place to stay, its actually clean, you know how most places dont clean behind open doors, this place does. easy walk to town & just right for the weary traveler. The guy at reception was very friendly & gave me a map of the good places for dinner. Even had some fresh milk for me (I dont like those UHT's)"
