Unlike the vast majority ofhouses in the islands, all of Casa Gibo's bedrooms are accessible from the mainliving area. Three of the four upstairs bedrooms have king-sized beds and allhave a private full bath. The optional lower-level apartment has an exteriorentrance but can also be accessed by interior stairs from the main floor if youinclude it in your rental. It's a great place to put the kids to bed early while theadults continue to vacay upstairs. Every room is air conditioned (also unusual inSt. Croix) but you will probably never need to turn on the AC. The sea breezes areamazing the majority of the year. We pretty much only use the AC in thebedrooms while we're sleeping.Casa Gibo Del Mar is in the gated Shoys neighborhood which includes ShoysBeach - one of the highest rated snorkeling and sunning beaches in St. Croix. Thebeach is an easy walk or a very quick drive from the house. Casa Gibo is equippedwith beach chairs (6), beach umbrellas (2), a cooler, assorted water toys, and acollapsible wagon to haul your gear to the sand and gorgeous azure blue water ofShoy's Beach.
