カンタンのホテル

PROS: - Location, amazing beaches and crystal clear waters (as others have stated) - super friendly staff - Resort is the best location on the island as it is far away from day tourists - food (lunch/dinner) is excellent and def better than at the other resorts - garden/landscape very well maintained (other resorts on the island look very “natural”) - few minutes to walk over to a beach to watch the sunset (although leaving the hotel you will see A LOT of garbage unfortunately) - not many people on the whole island which is hard to find nowadays in Thailand CONS: - bungalows (houses) pretty basic, new AC but could do with a little bit of maintenance (painting, drains…). Beds are very hard! - staff was unable to get us a boat within 5 days for a fishing trip, “agent has only one boat and cannot get”, well then get another agent or add another one. Went next door to Reef resort and booked a trip instantly - breakfast is (still) a disaster, very chaotic (seems to have been mentioned in previous reviews). Choice is limited but ok, but please just assign 1 more staff who knows what to do! dirty dishes, it takes forever until food/drinks are restocked…running out of basically everything…so you need to be patient and/or keep expectations low. - Food supply: for several days, only half of the menu was available…so better check before you sit down. but as mentioned above, food is great (Thai, western) - cocktails take forever, once again, be patient Overall, it was ok but given the hefty price (10.000 THB per night high season) you would expect more. You definitely pay for the location!

La deluxe villa anche se non viene venduta come vista mare, è in seconda fila ma è vista mare, la stanza è buona ma andrebbe fatto qualche cambiamento, il letto è comodo il bagno è funzionale, la tv non ha segnale. Spazio esterno con tavole e sedie, la spiaggia dotata di lettini gratuiti, la colazione a buffet ma non è un granché. Personale gentile. Il prezzo è alto ma come tutte le strutture sull’isola. Quando arrivi sull’isola se li fai chiamare dal renger o comunichi l’orario di arrivo mandano una persona a ritirare i bagagli gratuitamente, idem quando si parte.

Stay in the rooms on the beach front which are good value. Great views and a short stroll to the village, which is small and full of character. Breakfast is ok and the staff are nice. By all accounts not as good as it was pre covid but they are trying and good luck to them.

This is a small but very nice place with new bungalows. Not spacious, but clean and neat. Aircon is good and a nice breakfast is served on the porch each morning. The place is situated a bit away from the center of the village, but just 5-10 minutes walk away. There are nice restaurants close by. It is not right at the beach, but the beach near the Sivalai Resort is only a 10 minutes walk away. You can also easily take a tuk tuk or rent a scooter to get to Charlie Beach at the other side of the island. The host was easy to communicate with (via Messenger) and helpfully provided free transport from the pier to the site.

Only a short walk from Mookies to Farang Beach, a truly tropical paradise....The bungalows at Mookies were excellent, clean and very comfortable beds. The fridge is a very nice touch. The food was quick and fast and very tasty. Of course you have other restaurants nearby if you can possibly tire of Wan and her crews offering. Nick her husband was always ready to give some advice and have a good story to share. All in all, good prices for both bungalows and food and drink.
