"We were on such a special trip for me and my wife, visiting the areas where her family grew up. This hotel was an important part of our trip. I liked everything about it. The staff were kind, the location was perfect, the rooms were lovely and the food in the restaurant was delicious. One incident serves as a summary of the stay. In the restaurant we ordered some biscuits to come with a hot drink. It took a really long time (but the staff were apologetic). When the biscuits finally arrived we realised the reason they had taken a long time was because they had been baked to order, for us! To say sorry for it taking so long they gave us a big bag of fresh biscuits (many more than what was included in our order) to take away, for free! It is these little touches that really make a place for me- it deserves to do very well."

"Very helpful desk. Didn't have hot water for a shower all week and my sink barely worked. They came and fixed the shower, but the sink remains. Barking dogs on the east side kept me up most of the night. Food is excellent. Breakfast was slow in coming. Our waiter, CALEB...give the man a raise. Best service I have ever had. Hot towels...OMG...after lecturing all day....heaven. Overall, good stay for a place in West Kenya. I'd go back. "
