「The room smelled terrible when we walked in, housekeeping staff came in and sprayed air fresheners. The sheets made us itch, possibly need washing with fabric softeners. The TV streaming was not good weak signal.」
「It was such a pleasant surprise. The hotel was conveniently located at the heart of Baguio. It is also very near Camp John Hay which our family really loves. It is reactively new so it was very clean and so beautiful. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Everyone was so amazing. It was such delightful experience for our family, we enjoyed the hotel so much even the food at breakfast was so good. I would give this hotel an excellent rating as they also treated their guests with 5-star service. Kudos to everyone and we will surely be back. Thank you Chateau De Maisons for the great, amazing stay at your hotel.」
「This hotel has some good points:
1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.」
「Baguio is a go to place for us. We are surely be back on this place as it was near to all. Great location specially if you are in to night market it was just 10 minutes away.」
