「I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao.」

「I chose this hostel based on YouTube recommendation. Location is perfect, very close to Cloud 9 and Jacking horse surf shop (where i took surfing classes). It's not very noisy area, quite secluded from nearby shops and hotels. Which is perfect. Carlos at the reception was very very helpful and friendly. I took all the recommendations on restaurants, shops, laundry places. You can also rent a bike from the hotel. Besides there is a good community, they organize pizza nights, outings together, which is super fun if u are travelling alone and want to make friends. People that stay in this hostel are mostly Europeans. I did not have issues with sleeping in a room, everyone was respectful and clean. Bed has a curtain for privacy, light, locker and quite enough space. Showers are clean and i was lucky with hot showers. Overall, very good experience and def would come back again.」

Хотя и днем он не охлаждал совсем. Через тот же кондиционер было слышно все звуки с улицы. Еще не было одеяла. Ванная довольно неудобная, все хлипкое. Замок на двери еде держался. Но была горячая вода! Расположение вроде неплохое, но дорога на подъезде совсем неудобная, вся из камней」

「Great hostel for the price you pay, the location is really close to the beach but a little distance away from Siargao centre so I’d highly recommend getting a scooter for hire. Make sure you pack bug spray because being so close to the beach meant there was a lot of mosquitoes!」

「Жилье нормальное. Не могу сказать что супер. Но за свои деньги пойдет. Горячая вода есть. Расположения хорошое. В других отзывах видел, что дорога плохая к отелю. Хочу сказать свое мнения, да она не сильно хорошая но вы не забываете где вы находитесь ! Это остров - деревня. Здесь 70 % плохие дороги. Но на мопеде без проблем можно подъехать к отелю. Есть залог 500 песа.」

Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Ferra Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway.
