"The staff, location, and really the entire town was very welcoming and hospitable. We loved every minute of our stay and some of our friends are talking about returning one day! The country cafe had great eats alone with the bison burgers at the pub, and the donuts open at 4 am and the homemade breakfast burritos with truckers lined up at 7 am. There is a great walking path behind the motel. There was a nice continental buffet free every morning with : burritos, Jimmy dean sausage and egg muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereals, and hot waffles. And always a hot cup of coffee, tea or cider."

"Lori was a wonderful host. We were the only guests that night but she made us feel special. We reserve a room upstairs in the main building but she gave us a free upgrade to one of the cabins. A very roomy cabin with all the amenities. The breakfast the next day was delicious! French toast, blueberry pancakes, parfait, bacon sausage and eggs. She told us about the history of the town and her family. She’s the mayor! She even gave us a tour of the opera house she is renovating and a tour of the local antique store “Cousin Eddie’s”. Would stay here again if we’re ever in the area again."
