"Disappointed with the service and quality offered by this 4 star hotel. Worth a 3 star. Cold staff and impersonal welcome. Low quality breakfast with very little choice. Small work to be planned in the rooms. Bad smell from the toilets."

"The landscape is stunning, the food marvellous. The Hotel is partly renovated (Bathrooms), I didn't enjoy the room to the street (bad light), maybe the other rooms with balcony are nicer. The pool is nice, the Gym ok. Breakfast was delicious, just the room seams a bit odd compared with the restaurant. Dinner was very nice. Maybe a bit too expensive a la carte, but there is a half board option. unfortunaly this option wasn't offered to me and I got wrong information about the check in hours, which was a bit unpleasant. and I really don't like it if I'm blamed for mistakes of other people. the general problem with French people meeting foreigners is also valid. I don't like stereotypes, but it's better to polish your school French and don't expect a very warm welcome. a professional welcome: yes, but not comparable to other countries. well, I didn't notice anyone not from France except the very friendly waiter. over all, not a bad experience. not sure if I'll repeat it."

"A very comfortable, well equipped and spacious apartment in an attractive setting. During a heatwave with record breaking temperatures we were glad of the highly effective air conditioning. The owner, his wife and staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. A most enjoyable stay. We would definitely return to Villa ElisaM should we visit Aubenas again."
