"An elegant setting, welcoming innkeeper, scrumptious breakfast - just a lovely two days. Our room was large and charmingly appointed. We enjoy old homes, so the wide floor boards, fireplace, comfy reading chairs, and mural of a 19th century scene on all four walls delighted us. We traveled with family members so really enjoyed the ability to meet and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and chocolate candies in the sitting room after dinner at a local restaurant. Well-tended gardens added to our pleasure, but I can’t help wondering if a return trip in the fall or winter might be at least as much fun - those big fireplaces work."
