"事前に予約された宿泊施設に到着した後、ホテルに到着しましたが、到着時に受け入れられないことが判明しました。私の誕生日で、長い旅と突然眠る場所がないというストレスの後、フィールドヘッドホテルは救助に来ました。私たちは最も温かい歓迎と素晴らしい海の景色と冷たいワインのボトルを備えた美しいきれいで快適な部屋で迎えられました。犬がいたので、問題になるのではないかと心配していましたが、彼らは私たちと同じように彼を歓迎し、おやつとお世辞で迎えました。そこから町まで歩いて行ける(約20分)、犬に優しいレストランがたくさんあり、ルーエを訪れるにはこのホテルを強くお勧めします。"

"Our second visit to this wonderful hotel . Brilliant location with fabulous hosts Martin and Gill for whom nothing is too much trouble . They have excellent local knowledge as well . Hotel cozy and comfortable with convenient access to local transport . Breakfasts are a delight with lots of choice and food cooked to order and beautifully presented ."

"We were excited to visit The Gate, it’s a short drive from Looe and easy to find and park. The dining room has large open windows looking into the garden and an interesting shape room that we liked. The waitresses gave good service. We ordered some small plates to share which included the turbot with a very attractive clotted cream sauce and green oil, pig cheek, hispi cabbage with asian flavours, and chicken wings. It was all really lovely and beautifully presented. We are really looking forward to visiting again."

"2 nights spent here in November whilst visiting family in Looe. Love the fact that from the room, you can see over to the sea and one morning we had a beautiful sunrise. Being November it was quiet , but room was big, warm and clean. It is very handy that you can park the car outside the room. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of it. We used Sawyers in 2024 and will use again."

"This hotel is fabulous and Ella is the most conscientious and considerate owner/manager anyone could hope for. The freshly prepared breakfasts are superb. Our room (Skylark) was very spacious, with a well stocked supply of hot drinks and even fresh milk, comfy bed and great ensuite shower. We stayed for 3 nights with 3 other couples to do some South West Coastal Path walking The only minor glitch is that the SatNav link on Google tried to navigate us down a no- through road. For ease of reference the steep entrance is by the Globe Inn and train station."
