"素晴らしい滞在!"

"What a wonderful find !! I was so proud of myself for finding this gem of a place to stay. We stayed in the canvas Walled tent #2, which has a small walking path so hidden from the view of the field. The bed was comfortable and the attention to detail was impressive; from the mini battery-operated candles by the nightstand (which you can use the tray to carry things), flashlight, bath towels, plates/cutleries/cloth napkins/assortment of tea bags/French coffee press with coffee/cream/sugar - which Mariko (our host) would replenish daily if needed. The kitchen/common area was also very well organized. Very nice to have hot water Our very friendly host(owner) Mariko greeted us warmly when we arrived on our bikes from the ferry, and explained where things are, not only on the property but on the Lopez Island. She ensured we had reservations at restaurant. We were there on Tue/Wed night so we did not think it would be necessary to make a reservation but with limited restaurants, she highly recommended to make one. Both restaurants she recommended were absolutely fantastic! The first night we went to Blue Heron, which has locally sourced ingredients and menu, very friendly staff. For the 2nd night, we went to Setsunai. Although online it was not available, Mariko texted the owner and managed to find us a spot! Now that is a true Concierge service ! (We both work as hotel concierges in luxury properties in Vancouver) The property is very peaceful and relaxing, if you are looking for a place to unwind from the city buzz, this is a perfect getaway spot. Just 20 mins cycling from the Ferry terminal and less than 10 mins to cycle to the village where everything is. Thank you for making our mini getaway trip so perfect for us. We will for sure be recommending to everyone around us and hopefully we will be back again in the near future."
