"After a cool and unprofessional welcome by the host, we began to appreciate the pleasure of this lovely building which has been tastefully restored by the owner. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a large bathroom, though up some steep narrow stairs which could have been tricky for those with mobility issues. It would have been nice to have easy access to tea/ coffee making facilities - only a kettle available in the dining room. Breakfast was varied and nicely presented with homemade jams, though the crockery was a little tired and it would have been preferable to have traditional french croissants from the local bakery rather than mini pastries. "
