"We had a lovely stay at Tallowood cabin at Whispering Valley Cottage Retreat. The beds were very comfortable and we melted into them. The deck was our favourite place and loved listening to the frogs, birds etc. Not a single traffic sound to be heard. The cabin had everything you would need. We opted for a breakfast tray which had oodles of food, plenty to last two breakfasts for two people. Quality was excellent. Communication with the owners was spot on, just enough and also they offered much appreciated directions to access the site which is (wonderfully) tucked out of the way. In terms of phone reception, we had Optus mobile access the whole time which was unfortunately needed as we were managing a contract of sale on our home....but also handy for scoping things to do for each day of our stay. Very much enjoyed this accommodation and would stay again in a heartbeat. Prices were also very reasonable."

"Exceptional heritage property with comfort and thoughtful detailing front and centre. Our room, Alfred, featured a private two person balcony overlooking the garden, pool and native forest beyond. The large bathroom with freestanding bath and double shower boasted quality toiletries and the linen dressed king bed made for a delightfully comfortable stay. Some special touches included a biccie bottle of tiny shortbreads. Communication via email was excellent and check-in/out was seamless. A brilliant position with off street parking in Maleny’s Main Street makes walking the town easy and a list of preferred cafes and dining options is useful to even the shortest-stay visitor."

"Secrets on the Lake is absolutely magical. So happy we stayed here for our honeymoon. The details and craftsmanship in our treehouse and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The views are incredible as well. Felt like a lost boy in Neverland. Rooms are very well equipped with everything you need. Staff were lovely but George is the heart and soul of Secrets. Such a cutie! We will be back!"
