"Don’t be fooled by the good photography. This is one of the most overpriced, overhyped hotels I have ever stayed at - and as someone who works in travel, I’ve visited a lot! What could have been glorious, was a serious let down. Pokey, dark, sterile rooms with broken furniture. "

"This is a wedding and events hotel so if you want a peaceful or restful break - go elsewhere. The first night there was a wedding so dinner was very noisy with poor service and very poor food. Our second night there was a very noisy party which made dinner very unpleasant - still very poor food. The staff were mostly surly and unhelpful (exceptions being the dark-haired lady serving in the restaurant and Sante and Florian at reception who were charming and very helpful). The breakfasts were not great and there was often no fresh fruit at the buffet unless you asked them to get some, which they did unwillingly. Housekeeping poor - we were given a sachet with 2 single tissues for 2 of us to last 4 nights, 1 small tube of strong cherry body wash and 2 tiny soaps. The bathroom smelt of drains and the shower fittings were coming off the wall. Curtais very thin and stained, hairdryer really poor (only got to lukewarm). Other members of our group had to change rooms because of problems - one couple changed TWICE !! Generally very poor. You have been warned."

"Such a pretty and relaxing hotel experience. You definitely need a vehicle as it’s on the outskirts of Monopoli, but don’t let that discourage you from staying here. Pool area is spacious with plenty of chairs and shade . Breakfast had a good variety and very fresh. Our room was spotless and cute. Drive to town was less than 10 mins, but they also have a restaurant on site if you choose to stay in."

"I have to say, I was blown away with the whole stay, the views were amazing, roof top romantic, cold jacuzzi needed in 30+ heat! The staff (even with a language barrier at times) were lovely and helpful. They provided room service and roof service when ever you needed it. The token for breakfast was probably the downside, would have been awesome to have breakfast on the rooftop at the hotel while enjoying the views. The street noises were not an issue and we were there during a very busy time. The glass door to the bathroom, broke the mystery that as a honeymooning couple was still slightly there haha.. but never the less amusing. We were in room 103 the rain headed marble shower next to the bed, and we were very impressed and it had all the LED lights. The room does need places to dry swims suits etc, which we ended up taking things up to the roof. Small beach is about a 7 min walk away, sea is lovely but it’s crowded!"
