"We spent a week at the Berghotel during a family reunion in the Dolomites. The set-up was wonderful for this type of trip - we each had our own rooms, but could get together in the common spaces. Meals were a particular highlight with a reserved table for breakfast and dinner. And while the kids are picky eaters, they could always find things to eat from the salad buffet or have a plain pasta, while the adults enjoyed a 3-course meal. It's also a good fit for older children who can enjoy the pool and playground, but don't require babysitting or a kids club. The views are gorgeous and it's great to be able to walk to nearby trails and huts, or take the bus (while the bus generally worked, there were a few times where it filled up and we had to walk to an earlier stop to get picked up)."

"I have been at Hotel Waldheim for work during one week in January and I really liked the stay. The room was extremely comfortable and cosy with a nice balcony. The staff is very kind and carefully looks after any request. The food in particular is extremely good, with high level preparations, light and tasty. The position, close to the center of Sexten and in front of the cableway is ideal both for business activity and for ski/hiking adventures. The hotel offers activities with alpine guides and it has a nice spa. I will certainly come back to Hotel Waldheim next time in Sexten."

"We had a truly pleasant stay at this family-run hotel. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and above all very clean, which we appreciated right away. In the evening, we enjoyed truly excellent cuisine, with simple yet carefully prepared dishes using quality ingredients. Breakfast, while not extensive, was more than adequate and well-balanced. Another strong point is definitely the location: the property is in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for a good night's sleep. It's also an excellent starting point for visiting San Candido, Lienz, and the surrounding area. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation, good food, and genuine hospitality!"
