Close to city area. Loud noises from hall next door (roller skating or dancing), creek with locals yelling and screaming. Would not stay here if was not pre paid stay!!"

The normal amenities you would expect were there, and generally, the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of minor problems arose, but these were quickly sorted out by the manager. "We stayed two nights while we were passing through to see one day of the rodeo. We had one of the ensuite sites that was clean and tidy. It was a pleasure to have normal hot water that you could adjust just like home. After a few weeks in the Nt most park facilities were like mobile units of low quality. It was a bit cold in Aug to use the pool. The rodeo concert was on one night with noisy customers coming back all hours of the night as expected. Not a bad park for us."

"Rooms were unclean. Dead cockroaches everywhere inside. Leaves and flowers from outside covered the floor. Some sort of animal droppings covered the bathroom vanity. Coffee cups still had coffee ring in bottom where not cleaned. Other work mates room the same and smelt of mothballs. One work mate left to find alternate accommodation. Advised our health and safety team to never put us there again."

"There were several problems with the room. One was the cleaning smell in the room was overwhelming. Just because it smells of cleaning product does not make it clean! There was a hole in the bedside table. The room had a shower over a bathtub which would have been fine but they put a shower curtain around it that wrapped around your body when trying to shower. I do not beleive that they change the shower curtain every time that a new guest stays so this was really disturbing and I refused to use it. So the water flooded all over the bathroom floor."

"The best pub dinner since we left Victoria! The Isa Hotel was recommended to us as the best value steak in town, and it didn’t disappoint. As pub meals go, it was well presented, cooked appropriately, and well served. The venue was comfortable and relatively quiet for a Saturday night, much better than we’d expected. "In terms of site size; excellent, nice and large. Pool lovely; laundry great size with plenty of machines. Close to town, and no bats like the other parks. However, very lax on security. A car was stolen and torched from caravan park 2nd night there. Daily texts to keep stuff locked yet no interest with installing cameras or, heaven forbid, barrier gates. Not hard when you clearly have issues with the locales. Lazy really. Amenities old but function. Very unsettling that the toilet block can be easily locked by anyone from the outside. Again no thought given. If you stay and go to the loo, even ensuite, at night lock your van. This poor guy went to loo at 4am, left his van unlocked, while in loo they got his car keys from van that were hanging by door and car gone and burnt out! Terrible. Once this happens once a caravan park should do more…..but alas not this parks management!"

"I must say that without a doubt this is the friendliest and most welcoming motel that I have stayed at in many years. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the time I called to make a reservation. We were going to be late, after 8:00pm, driving from the NT. We were told that the arrival time didn’t matter and they would make sure our key and room was ready. Around 8:00pm staff called to make sure we were travelling safely and to check for an update on our ETA. Once we arrived we received a warm welcome and even though the kitchen was closed they still arranged a meal for us. The room is clean, well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We then found out that the motel is pet friendly!! Next time we travel with our furry family we will definitely stay here. There is ample sizeable parking at the room which makes unpacking after a day on the road that bit easier. There is even a bucket and window squeegee to clean your windscreen. A complimentary cheese board on arrival, who does all this these days? Nobody else!!! We will definitely be staying here on our return journey and will tell all our friends and colleagues about this gem so they too can enjoy this oasis."
