"We had a gorgeous couple of days away in the beautiful Montville rainforest. The Gatsby cabin was well appointed with a roaring fire to keep us cosy. The supplied breakfast hamper was more than enough for 2 days and the morning delivery of still-warm, freshly baked croissants was simply delightful. "I'm writing this review on TripAdvisor as there seems to be an issue with leaving a review for this property on *********** (who we booked through). Sorry for the delay in writing this but our lives been a whirlwind for a couple of months. This is a lovely property with a gorgeous couple running it. The bedroom was spacious with a large bed, a comfy seating area and a bathroom with a powerful shower. The breakfast was impressive and saw us through until our evening meal with just a little snack between. After a day out, we would come back, have the last hour of sunshine sat around the little pool and then a glass of wine on the terrace furniture until we walked into town. Montville seems to be a bit more of a day time place with only a handful of places open in the evening (perhaps 5). This property is close enough to go to the seaside for the day and there's plenty of other small towns around about to visit. There's a great winery nearby. We stayed for 5 days out of our month in Australia and this hotel and it's owners were a highlight."

"Had an amazing stay at Alaya Ascend this weekend. The place has such a peaceful and relaxing vibe — perfect to disconnect and just enjoy the moment. Everything was super well looked after, and you can really feel the attention to detail. Craig was incredibly attentive and genuinely a great guy, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed — highly recommend it if you’re looking to relax and reset."
