"This was such a delightful stay. Athena the host is equally delightful. She picked us up at Midnight from the ferry even though it is a 5 minute walk that would be complicated at 12am. The Greek breakfast is fresh and good. The rooms are very clean and lovely. We could see the sunset and ocean from our double doors and balcony. The location has been perfect. We have traveled the whole island. We leave tonight at 10pm and the owners are allowing us to keep our room. I will definitely be back. This island is such a peaceful island. Beaches are beautiful as are the holy sights"

What really stood out was their generosity — whether through thoughtful gestures, helpful advice, or simply the way they treated us with such care and respect. It felt like we were more than just guests; we were truly welcomed. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and full of authentic Greek charm. "First of all, let me mention that we had 4 very hot days on the island. But the air conditioner had a very hard time cooling the room and made noise during its operation. The room every time we came back, noon or night, was too hot and had no other opening than the balcony door to make electricity and change the air quickly, so we were forced to leave the door of the room to the corridor open and the door of the corridor to the outside area as well so that there is electricity and after about ten minutes we close them and turn on the air conditioning. The view from the room was very nice, on the bay, but at any time of the day you couldn't sit on the balcony because of the heat. The furniture in the room very old and the mattress not comfortable (at least for me who is quite heavy). The shower very small, fortunately with a fabric curtain that doesn't stick to you like the plastic one. The hotel has a very nice small pool overlooking the bay and shaded in its corners by 2 trees, the only new and the only nice one in the hotel. The ground has a big slope so the hotel is built on levels, but it does not have an elevator (we were told they will have one next summer). From our room to the street where we parked it was 4 floors, with stairs, and another one below the room the pool. Parking in road widenings. The staff was very kind and helpful but few for the size of the hotel, something that was mainly seen at breakfast. Plates were getting empty and you had to ask for them to be refilled, apparently why didn't they have time? The breakfast was full but typical, of average quality and without anything interesting. Also, the extra charge at breakfast for any coffee (espresso, Greek) other than filter makes a bad impression. Overall, despite the friendly staff, it was not a pleasant stay."

We adored your sense of style (such a fashion icon!) and are so grateful for your thoughtful help with emails and all the little touches. And those biscuits… absolutely to die for! We only wish you had a shop so we could order boxes of them whenever a sweet craving strikes. Also, heartfelt thanks to Panayotis, your natural smile every morning made our breakfasts even more enjoyable. Good service truly makes all the difference, and yours was exceptional. "Bad experience not recommended. Overpriced 2star “hotel” as it is advertised on the site but we were extremely disappointed to find out that Silver Beach is not a hotel but a two floor building with rooms only. Our booking was for just two nights on June 14-16 not a peak season but it was overpriced and a big disappointment. Charge for two nights in a very small double room for 478€ BB plus local tax. No one around to assist or receive any complains. The rooms are beachfront located at “Grikos” next to a big unit under the same Management. However, No front desk Not a sign with the building’s name, difficult to reach and find it Check in at a different location Poor facilities of the room were not up to standards Very small bathroom A small veranda for breakfast venue, 4-5 tables without chairs enough for everyone Very poor variety and quality food for the amount we were charged. We had breakfast on a couch and a small coffee table (we were instructed to wait or come back later). Noisy at night, slamming on the doors every time we left room Mosquitos everywhere, how to avoid mosquitos still unknown to the unit. We regret our staying … There are plenty of nice hotels and rooms around at this beautiful island of Aegean Sea. Find one and enjoy Patmos."
