"My husband + I stayed here for my birthday trip. My husband's dad’s family lives here so we come up once a year to visit- this year just so happened to be over my birthday week. We usually stay elsewhere but wanted to try this place out since they had a pool and the other hotel didn’t- that we usually stay in. However, the pool was not heated. The person at the front desk said that the owner keeps the heat turned way down (basically off) to save a buck. The pool was probably 20°. I know there are more important things than a pool but we drove over 6 hours to stay here while we visited family and were looking forward to relaxing in the pool/hot tub. We will stay elsewhere next trip or go back to the hotel we normally stay."
