ゲゲストNot convenient if you don’t have a car. Hostel is about 2.5 km from tourist information center where a visitor has to take the shuttle bus to JiuHua street to visit the temples on JiuHuaShan or the shuttle bus to the Fliwer terrace (Hua Tai). You may also have a problem if you have a lot of luggages as hostel does not have an elevator.
ゲゲストLocation: Walking distance from the gate entrance for free and easy travellers like us. Not far from all the main attractions in the town area. one of the cable car stations is just 2 minutes away and the bus to the other cable car station (to TianTai temple) is 5-10 minutes walk away.
The hotel also has a small restaurant. convenient if you just want to stay at the hotel at night.
The hotel next door offers great lunch and dinner buffet. We loved the spread.
Only thing that you need to take note is the hotel is located slight higher up the hill, need to walk up/down staircases to get there.
FFreeman TerenceThis hotel is located stone throw from both the bus terminals, so location 5 stars.
Amenities - rooms, restaurant, foot massage center(cannot locate) and Chinese chess rooms. Not sure, how this hotel is awarded 5 stars?
Rooms setup - guess it is time to renovate. Heard the renovation project is approved! Cheers!
Services - rooms for improvement! As I had a early flight to catch at 9.50am and the earliest bus from the mountain to the tourist center was 6.30am (again different front desk staffs told me different timings) so I tried to request for a paid car service to send me down. They said the hotel doesn't provide such service, asked me to reach out in the streets to see if the resturants or shop owners can provide such services! 1st time encounter in a 5 stars hotel, really a good learning for me in 2024:)
KKuang KuangWe stayed for two nights. On the first day, we visited Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park, located at the foot of Mt. Jiuhua, before checking in to our hotel at the Jiuhua Street Scenic Area. The following day, we visited the key temples and explored Jiuhua Street. On the third day, we visited the Heavenly Terrace Scenic Area, specifically Tiantai Temple. We were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room to enhance accessibility for elderly guests, as well as their helpful advice on executing our plan. Also for arranging private transportation and providing pick-up/drop-off services. The only disappointment was the lack of variety at the breakfast buffet.
ゲゲストA reasonably priced small BNB without breakfast. The housekeeper is a wonderful cook. There is a menu for you to choose from. Rooms are small and compact and the air conditioning in my room didn't work well. The WiFi stopped working the next day and the owner didn't bother to even try to reset it or otherwise attempt to rectify the situation. No view from any room of the scenery.
