"Such a nice hotel! The staff were super handy and arranged all transport for us, as well as serving up a great breakfast every morning on the terrace which was a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. With a terrace which felt private and had a good view of sunset. It’s a short walk from Faros beach, but to get to other parts of the island you need a car or taxi. Taxis were limited on the island so some pre planning is needed, ideally you would rent a car."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sifnakia Konakia, Sifnos. Maria was exceptionally kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the very first moment. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Maria prepares it herself every morning, and it is absolutely delicious, homemade, and prepared with great care and dedication. You can really feel the love she puts into it. Throughout our stay, Maria was constantly concerned about the well-being and comfort of her guests. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and have a lovely balcony. They are equipped with everything you need, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The location is excellent, very close to the port and convenient for exploring the island. We had an issue with our reservation, and Maria resolved it quickly and very effectively, which we greatly appreciated. The Wi‑Fi was occasionally a bit unstable, but honestly, when you are on such a paradise island, enjoying the beauty and atmosphere of Sifnos becomes far more important. We are truly grateful for the hospitality we received and highly recommend staying here. 100% recommended!"

"We had reservations for 4 nights, two standard rooms. For the price I expected something very simple and humble and as much as I can appreciate more luxurious hotels if I put the price, as much at 125 euros per night in August and in Greece I knew that the rooms would not be at the top HOWEVER, if I write this opinion it is because certain things are not acceptable even for a low price: at no time have I seen photos of the bathrooms and the disappointment was such that we only stayed the night! tiny shower tray, if you have an above average build it's complicated, no shower screen which closes so swimming pool, a bathroom like the bedroom which has not been renovated for 40 years but above all not MAINTAINED. And this is where I disagree. We can have an aging establishment (and indeed some rooms and the reception have been renovated and rather well) but damaged taps, a stained shower tray , exposed pipes, a toilet brush that dates back 15 years, a cupboard that stinks of humidity and is closed in, ants on the floor...I say no. the mattresses of the two twin beds were hard and comfortable. Another point to know, the hotel overlooks a small lively village square, and lively until late at night so good luck without earplugs!! This is our experience! To top it all off, Antonis the owner with whom I spoke by email months before our arrival assured me that we could reserve scooters on site, that this was not possible in advance. The good joke!! nothing was available anymore!! we finally found a car thanks to the hotel we went to to replace this one, but it was a hassle!! so be careful, book your means of transportation weeks in advance (if you come in August ) & if staying at the Smarradgi suits you, absolutely ask for the renovated rooms!!"

"I had an amazing experience at the hotel Artemon. The hotel was clean and the location was excellent because it was walking distance from the Artemon village where you could out for lunch, dinner or just for a drink. The owners of the hotel were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. I would totally recommend it!"

"Great hotel that overlooks the bay. A huge selection for breakfast and great rooms overlooking the pool and bay. The only downside is all the steps down to the beach and back. Something to consider if elderly or have any knee injuries, otherwise a fantastic place."
