The place is beautiful, authentic and well kept. We got a great nights sleep too. It was nice to be in walking distance to everything but not in the middle of it. "First, the good stuff: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom, while small, was clean and completely functional. I liked the contactless check-in and check-out procedures, although they are a bit unusual . However, there are two things I would point out to a prospective patron. The first is that this a motel at a hotel price. I can't really call that a complaint, just the reality of visiting a remotish mountain town that sees a lot of tourist traffic. But don't expect chain hotel amenities and service. The other was more of an annoyance than a real problem. The room came quipped with a modern, digital TV, but no remote to operate it , which made the TV useless. There are no manual controls. Overall, if you are just looking for an affordable place to stay while you visit Silverton, this property is a good choice and we recommend it with the caveats listed above."
