"Good position, in front of the sea. We asked to be inside for the AC (since it’s the hottest week of the summer). Inside it was ok but AC could be better. Large table, comfortable for child. We got various appetisers and pasta. Taste was ok but we got shocked of the two spaghetti with mussels divided into three child. We spent 40€ + 1€ for division. That was a strange point."

"English: We stayed in this 4-star hotel for a week. This year, being a native of Lecce, I wanted to return to my Salento to enjoy the typical and generous hospitality of our people, with the scents and flavors of the excellent local cuisine. The hotel is located in an excellent position on the sea and has a modern and functional structure. Unfortunately, we encountered inexperienced, improvised, unsympathetic staff who were not inclined to the concept of "service". The exception was the housekeepers in charge of tidying the rooms, who proved to be wonderful, kind, professional and helpful. Our room was next to the hotel's "kitchen" and the fumes and smells, without adequate ventilation, invaded our patio for the whole week, infecting our clothes hanging out in the sun. The wifi was also very slow and not performing. Breakfast was very disappointing, with a savory section limited to ham and cheese (available only until a certain time, then nothing). Having needed a savory breakfast, I asked for a couple of fried eggs, which the first time were served in a timely manner. At the second request, after repeated requests and a 45-minute wait, there was no sign of the eggs, and I was forced to have breakfast in an external bar, as in the last three days (half) of our stay. I expressed my complaints to the owner regarding the poor quality of the breakfast, asking for fresh fruit and local products. The owner, "kindly", replied that everything is absolutely in line with the standards of "Italian breakfast". But if "Italian breakfast" means "fruit in syrup", "sandwich bread and/or frozen" and a lack of variety of products offered, a question arises spontaneously: "Are we really in a 4-star hotel?" The owner added that fresh local fruit, such as melon and watermelon, is not of quality, and therefore is not offered to customers. "Strangely", however, in Torre Lapillo you can see several trucks selling fruit and vegetables, and in the various supermarkets you can easily find plums, peaches, melons, watermelons, figs, grapes, and more. The reasons given are embarrassing for an owner of a hospitality facility whose mission is customer satisfaction. The least noble aspect of this story is feeling like you're being made fun of, and this is unacceptable, especially when defending the many good entrepreneurs who invest in the area with passion and enthusiasm. Another episode to frame was when we ordered two Crodini at the hotel bar, accompanied by two slices of mini-portion pizza. They served us the non-alcoholic drinks with only "bottles", without straws or glasses. Only after our request, they brought us two plastic glasses! Total cost: 14 euros! Absolutely an excessive cost compared to the service offered that"

"Such a pleasure to stay in the magnificent Kaflinita Rooms for past 5 nights this newly opened lap of Luxury development is an absolute credit to Stefano the design & attention to detail is incredible. Tamara provides the most beautiful breakfast with the freshest of fruits & her homemade dishes daily are just delicious! Martha has been an excellent help organising my late arrival ,she recommended so many good local restaurants & beach clubs her English is fantastic! Valentina is just a treasure her finishing touches did not go unnoticed . The pool is fabulous as are the patios & planted areas ..well done to the whole crew here who work extremely hard to provide a 5⭐️++ service it certainly up there with one of my best stays … I am sad to leave but can’t wait to return from Ireland someday soon!"
