"A transit point chosen while going from Vienna to Hallstatt.. I chose a residence-type accommodation with a washing machine to wash clothes during a long trip, but there was no washing machine in the room, and there was one small washing machine and one dryer in the laundry room. "Maxlhaid We drove 7 hours to do some business in Linz. Since we were very impressed with the hotel and the excellent food last time, we were delighted when an apartment became available at such short notice, on the same day. However, we were not informed that a wedding was taking place. Very loud music until midnight. Sleep was out of the question. We were not allowed to use the garden as it was reserved for the group. As an alternative, we were offered the loungers at the sports field. The space was very fine, but of course the sports field was also used for that purpose, and a bit of peace and quiet was out of the question. The apartment rooms faced the inner courtyard, where other guests were having breakfast at 7:00 a.m. So the next day we had to start the 7-hour journey home, exhausted. After this experience, unfortunately never again! Unprofessional and a rookie's mistake! Oh yes: the price of the room was of course charged in full... And the bottle of wine in the room was only not charged as a small compensation after I pointed it out. Is that what you call a host?"
