we went last year to this hotel and found it excellent but this time it did not feel as good. Firstly the bedroom very small and the window did not stay open when we told the maid she must have known about it because she came and propped it open with 2 rolls of paper towels, also there were no hand towels in our room the whole stay only 2 bath towels. last year there seemed better selection the breakfast seemed hit and miss first day no hash brown and only one flavour of yogurt, second day there was hash brown but no sausages. there were never ever any black pudding or fried bread which i would have expected for a full english.

I arrived late evening after a long journey and received a lovely welcome and an upgrade upon checking in. Both the hotel and the room were stunning. The stair case alone is so beautiful. My bed was super comfy and my room had a roll top bath and a separate rain dance shower. The water pressure was great for such an old building too. I also had a view of York Minster. It’s right next to the train station but also easy walking distance to the city centre.

築100年のホテルは改装されており、全体的にはまあまあです。 与えられた部屋も非常に小さく、基本的にホテルのロビーの隣の階段を上がったところにあり、バスルームは比較的広く、浴槽の水は非常に小さかったので、女性にとっては洗濯と乾燥が困難でした。彼らの髪はとても多かったので。 クリスマスの雰囲気はとても良く、バーも良く、ヨークの地ビールもあります。 ホテルのお客様は、1 日あたり 7 ポンドの駐車料金をフロントデスクに通知し、チェックイン時に駐車料金を前払いしてから駐車スペースに駐車する必要があります。そうしないと、100 ポンドの罰金が科せられます。 ホテルの立地はとても良く、ヨークタウンの中心部にあるインターネットセレブのチェックインポイントからは約2キロです。Uberを呼ぶととても安くて便利です。ホテルの斜め向かいにはガソリンスタンドと24時間営業のコンビニがあり、テイクアウトも大変便利です。 ホテルから 2 歩のところにホリデイ イン、ヨーク大学、tesco スーパーマーケットがあり、とても便利です。地図で見るとアウトレットからも近いですね。全体的に、街の中心からは離れていますが、とても便利です！ ロータスキャラメルビスケットはお部屋にご用意しております。お部屋には使い捨てスリッパや歯ブラシはございませんので、フロントまでお申し付けください。 1時のレイトチェックアウトも可能です。 部屋にはエアコンが2台あるようでしたが、リモコンはありませんでした。一晩に十数回突然オンになったり消えたりするので、かなり怖かったですが、何しろ百年の歴史のあるホテルです。 マリオットのプラチナアンバサダーカードには朝食などの特典は付いておりません。 総合的には、やっぱり泊まっても大丈夫、値段も安い！

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are also quite accommodating. The location is superb as it is just a 12 mins walk to thr city center. The pool and sauna made the sray more fun. The only critique would be the breakfast as breakfast options are limited and the same everyday. There were not enough pastries or hot food options. But it is definitely not bad. It is just a tiny feedback that would make the whole experience a 10/10.

I had a wonder trip here. I really enjoyed the short trip in this quiet place with classic room full of nice furnishing, staff are nice and the garden is stunning.

I booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday and he was definately surprised. We were upgraded on arrival to a Junior Suite from our executive room which was simply amazing. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne in our room and some other complimentary goodies which was also very lovely. We ate in the Orchard Restaurant and again he was welcomed by the Restaurant Manager and given a Birthday Card. The food was delicious and the atmosphere with the live band playing was perfect. A really lovely stay and would look forward to going again.

Stayed here as a Base for Horseracing Big Hotel,plenty of Parking.Spa/Pool is off site. Our Room was quite small,and we did have issues with the heating not working too well. Room was clean,Bathroom good with all amenities. TV was big,but had intermittent glitches with the picture,but nothing too bad. Breakfast was good,buffet style,so no problems there. The Spa/Pool/Gym is off site up at the top of the Car Park,which can be a chilly walk. All in all,good Hotel with decent Rooms,Breakfast,and Pool.
