Staff very friendly. But, the simple amenities were lacking. Coffee pot broke, no coffee in room, no hand soap, toilet paper had 2 1/4 rolls only. 2 towels no floor towel. And the bathtub had peeling paint on the bottom where they tried to patch. The elevator was out of service. I did speak to front desk was told they were out of coffee and hand soap. I was given a bottle body soap and I could get coffee in the lobby. The breakfast attendant did not change her gloves from wiping tables and handling food. Food was not a big choice. I was given points on my membership that I didn’t know I had for my disappointing stay. We have stayed here in the past and it was fine.
Little bit old facilities and under renovation works. But best location and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed conditions. Recommend to stay for family travel.
ゲゲストGreat experience in a beautiful historic hotel.
Across the road from the mineral springs and walking distance to restaurant precinct.
Only thing to make our stay better would be to include bottled water with our room.

ゲゲストThere’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.
