部屋と設備は、すべて非常に高い基準で、快適にするのに十分な部屋があります。フィットネスセンターは予想外のボーナスでした。冬の数ヶ月の間にもっとホットなオプションがいいけれど、朝食はとても良かった。スタッフは皆、スマートで丁寧で、対処するのが楽しいものでした。駅と地下鉄の向かいには、市内とそれ以外の場所に迅速にアクセスできますが、フィットネスセンターまで徒歩わずかです。フィットネスセンターのライトはセンサー/タイマーにあります。外の動きが無いのでサウナの電灯が切れたのが気になる原因でした。その時のレセプションにこの事を言及しました。

Outst!.anding experience in Lourdes - relates to very first day - my daughter & self walking towards sanctuary, and really looking forward to so much. I volunteer each year , but my daughter was never there before & at her suggestion we stayed in Ibis. Was v pleased with location for starters and we could go down steps & towards Grotto. However suddenly lady tapped me on shoulder to warn me that my bag open - back pack which I bought for trip. Immediately I knew - I would never leave a back pack open/ Panic set in quickly & I found all my walled, bank cards & mobile phone - so my good sense left me too & I just turned around and back to IBis. Up in my room I did not have a phone , but was too upset & just knew straight to police. With that - knock on door. It was Christophe from reception. He had got a call from a shop - St Joseph's under bridge entering San Michelle gates. My little holder with all my bank cards, details, my mobile, any cash also. So we quickly rushed down there to be handed my wallet & phone. They were such a sweet couple. Cash was taken but thank Our Lady the cards remained. I could not say enough about Christophe & Nathalie. They really cared & I did not need police. So I could only say IBIS staff were wonderful. People is the reason for going back to Lourdes and the bad ones drive everyone away. So I am voting for your staff on that account

Communication with this hotel was good before arrival. We asked for a Superior double room on the first floor and this was provided for us. It was a large room with excellent air conditioning, comfortable large bed and pillows. Shower was excellent with hand rail for support. We were provided with two bottles of water on arrival, one bottle of water on the second day and nil bottles of water on the third day. Why? Toiletries that were used were nor replenished. Why? Tea bags that were used were not replenished. Why? The toilet area is separate to the bathroom area. You have to leave one room to go to another to wash your hands. The door to the toilet make a pretty awful creaking sound when opened and closed, disturbing my partners sleep at night. Housekeeping should be reporting these type of issues. The bathroom area has a glass wall. It does not give 100% privacy. When you switch on the light to wash your hands during the night, the whole bedroom lights up. The batteries for the remote control for the TV in our room were dead. Reception could not find any replacement until Daniel stepped in and gave us the ones from the reception remote. We found Daniel to be an excellent worker, tuned in to his customer needs. We were staying for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast offering never changed over the 3 mornings. It was pretty boring and we have had better. One staff member, a lady with bandana, took exception to me taking a tea spoon from a box on the counter, so I could stir my tea. I had used the one originally given to eat a yogurt. I felt like a school child. The same lady when cleaning off the breakfast tables would examine the cutlery to see if they had been used, if not she put them back on the table for the next person. Despite the above, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Reception staff were very pleasant. We liked the old world decor. The hotel is situated a few minutes from the train station.

We all look for a hotel to provide a complete, pleasant experience. However, when you “sort through” the component parts of a stay, the single most important part of the stay has to be the importance of a comfortable, good night’s sleep. This hotel advertises, on its website that it has air conditioning. When you check in, you read that the hotel prides itself in providing a 19.5 degree Celsius temp for a great night’s sleep. We had been staying on the Mediterranean coast, but would have been required to arise at around 2 AM in order to make our flight the next morning. We decided on this hotel, because of its nearness to the airport, providing us a connecting flight to Paris. We found it on TripAdvisor and other sites as well. We called and made our reservation. When we arrived in the room, it was very warm - 25.5 Celsius. It’s completely understandable that they would not want to spend the money to condition the air in rooms that are not occupied. We turned down the air as low as it would go at around 5 pm and waited in the room for two hours - the restaurant did not open until 7 pm. The temp had not come down any at all in the first two hours, but it was the heat of the day. After arriving back in the room after supper, the room was still 25.5°C. The sun was still up, and it had been a very warm day. Once again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We tried to go to bed, but the temperature never came down. At around 1 AM when the temperature was still 25.5°C, I called the front desk and told the young man that the room was not cooling and we desperately needed to sleep. He asked me if I correctly set the thermostat device and I told him that I was quite certain I had. He was concerned that I might not be understanding the device, so he asked me to come downstairs where he could demonstrate the procedure for setting the temp at the lowest level. I got dressed and went downstairs, and after he explained the procedure to me, I advised him that that is exactly what I was doing. This young man was very polite and told me he had no choice but to give us another room. We switched rooms and the new room was at 23.5°C. I turned it all the way down the moment we walked in and within 20 minutes the temperature had gone up a half a degree - probably from being opened up and disturbing the air with hallway air. It never went down. We were completely miserable. The lack of rest made our Paris flight and the subsequent trans Atlantic flight to Atlanta very tiring. Perhaps the outside temp was unseasonably warm (I don’t know). However, if a hotel doesn’t supply its hotel with enough air conditioning to cool the rooms for customers during the warmest months of the year, it either should not advertise Air Conditioning or should shut down and not sell rooms during that period of time. This hotel was better than I expected. I booked via **********, and the hotel was extremely responsive and helpful in pre-stay communication. This friendly and helpful approach continued during the stay. Arriving outside the reception's limited opening hours requires collecting the key cards from the nearby 5* Ozz'in hotel, which is under the same ownership. The helpful staff there helpfully explained that guests at the Natureva and Oz'Inn can use both hotels' facilities, which at Oz'Inn primarily comprises a rooftop sun deck and large jacuzzi, which is much more luxurious than the Natureva's indoor pool. Make sure that you request wifi access code from Natureva reception when you check in, or if you collect your key cards from the Oz'Inn, make sure that you ask Natureva reception in advance to include a wifi access code, otherwise you will have no wifi (except 10 free minutes) until the next morning. You don't need to clean the whole room before checking out. To avoid a €100 cleaning surcharge, you just need to run the dishwasher and empty it, empty the bins, and leave bed linen and towels in a large bag. Although this is an odd requirement for a 4* hotel, It wouldn't put me off staying at the hotel again as it wasn't particularly onerous. There is also no daily cleaning, which is unusual for a 4* hotel. The hotel has a good range of television channels including BBC World, but I was disappointed that Canal+ wasn't included. The internet was painfully slow - 5Mbps downstream and 0.3Mbps upstream. It was impossible to join a video conference. The pool has an odd red notice stipulating no telephones, but everyone ignores it and uses their phones anyway. Far more relevant would be a rule banning photography and filming, which the Oz'Inn has. Only some of the rooms have safes, so if you need a safe, make sure you notify the hotel of your requirement well in advance of your stay so that you can be allocated a room with a safe. The gym is quite well equipped, but it was far too warm in mid-May. A gym should have a regulated temperature of around 16°C to 18°C all year, but the gym was more like 22°C. I had to leave after 20 minutes, because it was too warm, and I didn't return. The top reasons to stay at the Natureva is for the kitchens in the rooms, and also access to the Oz'Inn's rooftop sundeck and jacuzzi. The Oz'Inn seems to have a much younger clientele than the rest of the naturist village (including the Natureva), whereby around 90% of the guests are aged around 35 to 55. However, although the Natureva is purely naturist, the Oz'Inn tolerates additional activities on its sundeck, which would not be tolerated at the Natureva's indoor pool. There is plenty of intimacy between couples, including some subtle but minor sexual activity. This might not appeal to everyone, but it's quite mild compared to Baie des Cochons.

The lady Manon on reception was very warm, friendly and helpful, delightful. I took my mother for 2 nights, it was adequate for 2 nights. We had 2 separate double rooms. Reception very bright and clean. Carpets in bedrooms heavily stained and filthy ! Quite a turn off. Decor in hallways and stairs tired and in need of redecorating. In the rooms there were paper cups and wooden sticks, no milk and only 2 fruit teabags, no breakfast tea or coffee. Odd for a 4 star hotel ? Beds comfy, street quiet. Walls paper thin, so can listen to neighbour's TV as if in your own room. Also could hear my mum using loo in next room. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. Unfortunately as the owners nevef reply to comments on here, I doubt anything will improve. I think because Lourdes is such a tourist, people will put up with anything as they see it as part of their penance.

Lots of space, appliances with which to cook (but no coffee offered in the room as other hotels in France, yes offered on the first floor at any time. I did not find spoons either). You got to walk for 15 minutes to get to the center, but it is close to the train station, which suited me. Front desk staff and the lady in the breakfast room are not the nicest persons on earth. However, that does not change my opinion that the hotel is very convenient for your stay (but it removes one star from my ranking of it). Supermarket 2 blocks away. What I loved the most was the huge room. Finally, some place to stay in France in which you could move, leave your bags, extend your arms. I recommend it.
