JJun@95Easy check-in and out process, good location, could actually walk to Cataract George Reserve. Sufficient parking lot. An interesting place to stay with some activity within the hotel premises. The room was a bit too dim, even though they provided several lights, but all were yellow lights. There is noise (water flow?) that would be quite disturbing if you are a light sleeper.
ゲゲストI really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The place was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was great. I’d definitely recommend it to others.
ゲゲストStayed the night to watch The Hawks and needed somewhere cheap and cheerful. The room was small and basic but had everything you need for a stopover, fridge, kettle, microwave etc. The heater we had in our room didn't work but the staff were absolute legends in ensuring they found us one, so we were certainly cosy and warm 😁 we didn't eat a meal but did take some garlic bread away, which was yummy! Would stay again next time, thanks guys 😊
DDrew GorWe love this hotel! We called them up few days before to confirm the amenities inside our room and also a special request too! They answered our call and sort it out super quick!
The location is super convenient, close to airport. Bathroom very clean, beds are comfortable.
Air conditioning maintained our room in a perfect temperature.
One thing which is not important for everyone, is the dishwasher is leaking water!
BBarrAs a solo traveller just spending one night in Launceston, The Star Hotel was the ideal choice. It is centrally located and street parking was easy to find and free between 17.30 and 09.00 next day. The room itself was compact but comfortable with an ensuite. The friendly, efficient female staff member was able to help with local advice and when I decided to have dinner later, the food and service were exceptional. Three see a couple of stair cases to negotiate but really no trouble. This place was a highlight of my travel in Tasmania.
