"まるで天国のような静けさです。ビーチはどこもきれいで、人もいません。マール・マール・リゾートに滞在すれば、まるで海の王様になったような気分です。食事も美味しく、お部屋も完璧でした。それから、ルチラさんにも心から感謝しています。彼は私の子供の面倒をよく見てくれて、本当によくしてくれました。ルチラさん、ありがとう。いつかまた戻ってきます。"

"The rooms are gorgeous — very spacious and perfectly clean. The open bathroom is absolutely delightful! We stayed on a breakfast-only plan, and the breakfasts were delicious. The pool is large and very clean. The toiletries are high quality and beautifully scented. The room also has body sponges, toothbrushes, and body lotion — everything is thoughtfully provided. Everything around the hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. The beach is clean, and there are enough sunbeds for everyone. The ocean near the hotel is very calm and shallow, which makes it perfect and comfortable for swimming with small children. If you want waves and deeper water, there is a spot about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is about a 5-hour drive from Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, but the journey was absolutely worth it. There are monkeys, rabbits, squirrels, and many different birds living on the hotel grounds. Near the hotel, we also saw a Asian water monitor. ️ The hotel is truly amazing! Thank you to the entire staff who made our vacation unforgettable! ❤️❤️❤️ P.S If you are staying on a breakfast-only plan, be sure to go for seafood at “Nature Huts”. "Recently visited this hotel , basically I booked the Passivilla however the GM has graciously transferred us to Marina beach hotel due to the sandy beach facilities . The room sizes were big and the toilets are vey clean .All the staffs are very friendly .we had some lovely time at the beach with beach sports . I have to give a huge thanks to GM Janaka for his warm welcoming and hospitality . Lovely pool and the view was stunning . The food was average may be its a off season . I'll definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay"

"We met up with our friends for a couple of nights at KayJay beach house. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided a great collection of meals from locally sourced seafood, some of it from the fisherman directly in front of the house! We had delicious crab curry, a seafood BBQ and fabulous prawns. The house is designed around a central living area with a view of the fishing boats and beach beyond. There were two pairs of double rooms set either side with a further double room. The rooms are air-conditioned, mosquito nets are provided. The ensuite bathrooms are clean with refreshing cold water showers. The small pool was most welcome after a stroll to the nearby Pasikudha beach. This is a lovely place to stay, ideal for a small group or couple of families who can have exclusive use of the venue."
Hotel East Lagoon
" In Batticaloa, it appears that hotel choices are somewhat limited. I found that The East Lagoon Hotel to be adequate for a few days’ stay. While the room and washroom were clean, the balcony area was a mess. The view from the room was quite nice but the balcony was too narrow and the walls too high to sit and enjoy it. Regardless, sitting down on the balcony was out of the question. I could overlook the cheap plastic chairs, but the fact that they were dirty was disappointing. On a positive note, the staff, particularly the manager, were friendly and helpful. However, we often had to track down a server whenever we visited the bar. The breakfast served was a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, though it lacked a Western option. I must mention that I was under the impression that the checkout time was 12 pm, as indicated on ***********, and I'm unsure why we had to rush out at 11 am. "

They literally made us feel like we are one big family. How can I forget the view.not gonna lie we are missing that view now. We will definitely visit that place once again.
