Lots of atmosphere as the hotel is inside the fortifications of the castle of Horta. Nit so large so mostly private couples and families- no obvious tour groups - just private and pleasant. Fabulous views of Pico.

Très bien situé pour se promener à travers d’Horta à pied. Le chambres sont grandes et les lits confortables mais mériteraient un peu de rafraîchissement.

First day and arrival was terrible.... Very bad room... Dirty sticky floor. Noisy, no privacy, really terrible located on the ground floor. I paid almost 200 euro for 3 days. This room was no more worth than 35 euro's..... It was fully booked. The cleaned, but stuff was still bad, sticky and broken. Next day I got an upgrade. Really nice. So that was very good service. But so much difference in room quality for the same prices.... Should not be allowed.
