「The service here is wonderfully warm and personalized, creating a truly welcoming experience. The overall atmosphere has a great vibe—calm, relaxing, and perfect for a quiet retreat.
The only issue was a noticeable funky smell in the room. (Just in the suite we stayed) The team kindly provided room freshener, but it seems the odor may be coming from the ventilation system. It’s just a minor blemish on an otherwise great stay.」

「Beautiful hotel however the wall tiles had mould and the topper on the mattress had blood stains. Tv was not working properly. I phoned down stairs to let reception know the tv wasn’t working properly and nobody came to help.
Restaurant was brilliant and staff was very good.
The blood was definitely not satisfactory as the cleaning staff are not doing their job properly. The mould just needed to be scrubbed.」

「手機信號弱，自然體驗佳，沒有了機會看垃圾手機和電視，安靜的聽鳥兒八卦。躺在床上看星空，袋鼠傍晚來串門，房東很好，洗手間比五星級酒店乾淨， 一定要試一下自己烹飪BBQ晚餐，當地買的牛排、香腸、西紅柿都很棒，鹽和胡椒噴點橄欖油就比米其林、黑珍珠好吃，自然的永遠是最好的！ 真心推薦，建議住2-3天，我衹定了一天，很遺憾沒再住一晚體驗一下週邊的農場、酒莊和美食。下次來澳洲一定再來！」

Adventure awaits you in this rustic getaway. Set in the heart of a 120 acre working horse riding property. Set in the beautiful Southern Highlands 5 minutes out of Moss Vale 'Rosthwaite Farm' boasts 5 acres of manicured English gardens, 8 dams and over 70 horses.
The ‘Tin Shed’ has only just been made available to guests after a painstaking renovation over the last couple of years sourcing materials in keeping with the style and architecture of the original building. Actual hardwood timber and corrugated iron from the old milking shed have been incorporated into the high end finishes of the structure to maintain its building's authenticity.
Guests are welcome to roam around the farm and enjoy the gardens or make friends with some of the some 70 odd horses at Rosthwaite Farm. Book a farm ride or a lesson with one of the highly qualified riding instructors available through the reknowned Moss Vale Riding School established by World Cup showjumper - James Arkins.
Enjoy a coffee, lunch or dinner at one of the many establishments in the surrounding villages of Moss Vale, Bowral, Mittagong, Berrima, Sutton Forest, Burrawang, Robertson or Bundanoon or you can just laze about and relax under a tree by the lake and read a book.
If you have friends or extended family wishing to holiday with you we also offer ‘The Stables’’ which is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom converted cottage . For larger groups we also have 3 beautiful 1 bedroom Hideouts scattered around the property. In total we can accommodate 12 guests ; all enjoying their own private accommodation and yet being able to sit around the fire pit together to share a drink; dinner or watch the sun go down after a farm ride around the property. Visiting for a wedding? We are excellently located for all Highlands wedding venues, especially Montrose House (5 minutes drive), Peppers Manor House (7 minutes drive), Somerley House (7 minutes drive) Mali Brae Farm (20 minutes drive), and 25 minutes drive to Bowral and Berrima.
Ask us about EARLY CHECK-IN - we are happy to oblige where we can. There is plenty of room to hang your clothes and get changed, a full-length mirror, iron and ironing board.
Huge picture windows look out to the tree tops, pastures and our large country garden. Rug up and relax with a cuppa and enjoy the views from the lounge, or enjoy a cool drink in the afternoon sun in your private outdoor patio area.
Cooeyana Loft is spacious and architect-designed for your comfort, including kitchenette, breakfast bench, comfy lounge chairs, double glazing, reverse-cycle heater/air-conditioning, ceiling fan, oil radiator, heated towel rail and heating in the bathroom, and super comfy queen size bed.
The perfect place from which to walk along English-style country lanes and explore the Village (8 minutes walk to the General Store Cafe), drive and explore the area, attend a wedding or other special occasion, or just breathe in the fresh Highland air and pet our tame sheep, Moss.
Completely private and separate from the house with your own keyed entrance and parking area. We respect your privacy but are on site if you need us.
There is a dedicated study/work area and books and games for your entertainment. Large smart TV with Netflix, Binge, Stan, Apple TV plus and private WIFI network. DVD player with large selection of DVDs.
The Loft has a kitchenette with microwave oven, fridge, toaster, jug, electric blender, crockery, cutlery, glasses, corkscrew, coffee plunger and tea pot. We supply olive oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, tea bags, herbal tea bags, leaf tea, instant coffee and ground coffee.
We supply breakfast items as follows: wholemeal bread for toast, Vegemite™, butter, peanut-butter, home-made marmalade, milk.
The bathroom is supplied with Blumme Organica hand & body wash and conditioning shampoo. Both are Paraben free.
Please note:
The Loft sleeps two adults.
The Loft isn't suitable for children of any age or adults with limited mobility as there are stairs and no stair guard. A cleaning fee will be added for bookings made with children/infants.
Check in is 2pm and check out is 10 am but both times can be flexible as long as there isn't a cross over with other guests. Please feel free to ask.
Please don't book with us if you smoke. We are a totally non-smoking property, inside and out, and ... butts make the rubbish bin stink.

A truly spectacular place with one of the most majestic, yet rugged, views in the Southern Highlands. This is high-end eco living at its best. The 150 acre farm nestles atop a linear cliff face. The 180', Northerly aspect, captures the meandering Wollondilly River Valley 300m below, surrounded by the sheer, rocky, cliff faces which envelop the property. Search You tube 'Wollondilly Tops’ for a better idea!
Southerly views across the rolling hinterland offer an alternate slice of paradise.
The modern, state of the art, pine cabin is designed for a romantic interlude for two or a fun weekend for a family of 4. There is a gorgeous cast iron Queen size bed with a ladder leading to a 'snug' for the kids; it's a 'crawl into' space, which is lots of fun for the kids, although we have had adults use the snug too! Beautifully appointed, the cabin is positioned to capture the very best views from each vantage point with the large windows and open double doors. For the colder nights or purely for the magic of it, you can always light the wood-fire stove.
The farm is a true eco-farm with solar power and bottled gas keeping us happily off the grid. Drinking water is collected rain water and excellent hot water is supplied from the bore. The bathroom is beautifully appointed with state of the art, high pressure hot water and separate WC.
The swimming pool sits on the forward edge of the cliff with gun-barrell views up the river.
A separate living/kitchen area with large 360 degree outdoor deck completes the farm. Great for entertaining or being entertained, the inside outside living can be adapted to suit your tastes.
