"This resort is perfect for a relaxing family vacation. It has a wonderful, laid-back vibe, which really helps you unwind. We were happy with our beach-facing room. The rooms / bathrooms themselves were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the flexibility to manage the A/C to our preference and the option for daily housekeeping. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We even received contact details for a reasonably priced taxi service for airport transfers (from Goa) and local sightseeing, which was a huge convenience. While there isn't a direct road to Kudle Beach, it is easily accessible. The resort is also conveniently located about 1 km from the Mahabaleshwar Temple, with auto service available just a 2-3 minute walk away. The walk back from Kudle beach requires a little effort, but is definitely manageable for even senior citizens who are reasonably fit. Overall, the food was good and the entire experience was excellent. We highly recommend this resort!"

"Please do not go by seeing the photos of the rooms. Although the beach is right outside the hostel, the private rooms are not clean. There is no access to hot water. Bathrooms are not clean and have mosquitoes and lizards. The towels and bedsheets are not washed properly. Rooms have a particular unpleasant smell. Not worth the money."

"Stone wood resort Gokurn. We are at the beautiful resort amidst of some tall trees and natural surroundings in a valley. The place is so nice you feel the place was specially created for this purpose. We had heard a lot about this and twice advised against going here ,by the staff booking online,as we were senior citizens. Now after staying here we find the advice was totally wrong. Yes the place is up and down but for those who are mobile and not suffering from any ailments it’s really wonderful experience. The staff under GM Mr Santosh is very friendly and polite. Your smallest demand is fulfilled with smile. The Nature , in abundance, surrounds you with gentle kindness. The birds and small animals are there to feel. I am surprised why a simple system is not made available that can carry the senior citizens up and down as well help staff carry their luggage too. I strongly recommend this place for two nights to relax and rejuvenate."

"The most wonderful location with amazing staff and the best chef! It takes a while to get there but once there you won’t want to leave. The only sounds are the gentle waves on the beach below, the many birdsongs and the occasional monkey. The whole hotel is beautifully furnished. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The outdoor areas naturally flow with the surrounding countryside."

"Spent a couple of nights last month in this property. The property looks good from outside with spacious reception, dining, cottages all around a swimming pool. While the room was decent, the washroom was not well maintained with exhaust fan not working, the electrical switches not fitted properly, hot water not available etc. It was a bit disappointing. The option for food was limited although quality and taste was good. May be we visited in an "off season" and hence our choice was limited. They have a SPA and I enjoyed a session in the spa with a very well trained therapist."
