"I spent a week at this hotel. Let's start with the positives: the hotel buffet has a wide selection, and the food is good but not exceptional, which is perfectly in line with the price. The pools are beautiful and have plenty of lounge chairs. The open bar has friendly and very fast bartenders. The hotel's location is also very convenient, close to nightlife. The negatives, however, are: the hotel has several facilities; the main one is beautiful and renovated, while the others are a little less impressive (some more so than others). I noticed a balcony in the less impressive facility overlooking the main pool that has a very dark damp stain and is constantly dripping. This balcony overlooks an outside sidewalk, which is extremely dangerous for passersby. Furthermore, in another facility, the one across the street from the main pool (the one where I stayed), I noticed cracks in the balcony above mine. These facilities definitely need to be renovated (and in the case of the damp stain, quickly to prevent pieces of the balcony from falling on passersby's heads). Also the rooms of the main building are better than the others (some are still good rooms, others are not) because they are premium rooms or something similiar."

"I stayed here with my family last year in August, and I could not have rated higher. Booked again for August this year. So disappointing. Food was served on the beautiful outdoor terrace in 2024. This year, we have to walk to a sister hotel for a school dinner experience with miserable staff. Totally changed the dynamic of the holiday and not what I signed up for when booking with Jet2. The chill rooftop pool was closed off too, so directed to the overcrowded ugly sister hotel. In summary, when I book a holiday, I book it for a specific hotel, not a cheap and nasty alternative."

"I had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel. The location is simply fantastic, with direct access to a beautiful beach and crystal-clear water. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food was excellent, with a great variety and high quality throughout my stay. I always found something delicious and enjoyed every meal. One of the highlights was the relaxing atmosphere. I came here looking for rest and recovery and found exactly that. The combination of the stunning location, the sea, the friendly service, and the overall comfort made this a truly memorable holiday. A special mention also goes to the AEGEO Spas team Xenia snd Auguste. The massage treatment I received was one of the highlights of my stay and left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Thank you to everyone who made this holiday so enjoyable. I would gladly return."

Gouves Bay by Omilos Hotels
"After reading some of the reviews before arriving, I can honestly say the hotel wasn’t as bad as expected. We managed to get a really good deal, and for the price it was decent value. That being said, I personally wouldn’t return — but if you find a cheap deal, it’s not a terrible option. Overall, I’d rate it more of a 2–3 star hotel rather than a 4 star. Cons The bathrooms are very basic and felt more like something from an 18–30 style holiday resort. The rooms themselves were okay, again around a 2–3 star standard. Our TV didn’t work at first, but to be fair it was fixed straight away. The safes are extremely small and cost €12 for the week, which was disappointing as most 4 star hotels include this free of charge. The gym looks like a time capsule from the 1980s — I honestly wouldn’t trust using most of the equipment. The beds were uncomfortable, although strangely my son’s bed was really comfortable. The main pool is very deep and the children’s pool is tiny, which isn’t ideal for families with younger kids. Food was average at best and could definitely be improved. Most of the staff were lovely throughout our stay, although unfortunately my wife had a bad experience with a member of staff on our final day who was quite rude. The resort of Gouves itself is very quiet and quite run down in places. The hotel is also very small, so you probably wouldn’t want to spend your entire holiday there without exploring outside the resort. One thing worth noting — they cut off your all-inclusive wristband immediately at checkout. Pros The location is nice, especially being able to see and hear the sea from the hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily and we received fresh towels and bottled water every day. There are loads of cats around the hotel, which we loved. Ice cream in the hotel is really nice. The bar area is nice with good music and a relaxed atmosphere. Unlike many hotels, they allow inflatables and balls in the pool, which was great for the kids. Extra Information * The nearest bus stop is around a 10-minute walk away. * There’s a lovely little Greek church near the hotel worth visiting. * Wembley Sports Bar on the main street is excellent — definitely recommend. * A couple of supermarkets are within walking distance. * Avoid the Gouves tourist train — it follows basically the same route as the local bus and cost our family of four €43. * The Island Restaurant is beautiful for a sunset dinner."
