"Good English country pub with accommodation. Reasonably priced pub type food, well cooked and served hot. Long serving friendly helpful staff. Quiet nice unobtrusive atmosphere , clean tables and toilets. Plenty of parking and well lit. The rooms were spacious and excellent and the breakfast was top rate. It is also a very nice location. "Stayed two nights here and overall this was a pleasant stay in a lovely village. Staff were excellent and the food very good. There seemed to be a problem with the breakfast on the Saturday and a slight mis understanding with the room on the first night. However, this did not detract fr9m the stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this Pub/Hotel. Have to say raised my two queries on the Sunday with the two managers who were there and they were so polite and dealt with the matter in a most professional way. Thank you for your time and care you gave me much appreciated."
