「The Hotel was great.  Downside that it has no car park.  One time spent over 1.1/2Hours driving in Circles to find a parking spot.  I was a bit disappointed in some thibgs….The Hotel takes a 100euro off your card as a security.  Why?   I paid cash all the time but wanted to have my evening dinner charged on my room and they refused because the bill was 104 euro.    I never ever encountered such guest mistrust…   I must add we waited a lot to get the second course.. a bit too much I would say. The hotel was really beautiful, nice room, breakfast was great and varied.  The staff very polite and courtious.」

「Grand Hotel Baia Verde is a nice resort hotel.  Unfortunately we came in the off season so some amenities like the pool and access to the sea were not available.  Our room was a recently renovated room and was very clean with a balcony.  The views in the morning were fantastic watching the sun rise up over the sea.  It’s about a 20 minute drive into the centre of Catania. Mount Etna is about a 40 minute drive  Would not recommend staying here unless you have a car, there isn’t much in walking distance apart from other hotels.   Staff were pleasant and helpful.  Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel bar was also nice.  Hotel grounds were well kept and very scenic. Parking is onsite in a secure lot.」

「Innanzitutto, grazie allo staff che ci ha accolti con grande cordialità. L’albergo si trova in un’ottima posizione, a pochi passi dal lungomare di Acitrezza, dove ci sono molti locali in cui cenare o fare aperitivo. La struttura è molto bella (ho adorato il design degli interni) e anche le camere sono buone, con dimensioni perfette; inoltre, sia il bagno che il balcone sono spaziosi. Il bollitore è utilissimo (è una delle prime cose che cerco nelle strutture in cui alloggio!). La sala colazioni è molto carina, con spazi sia interni che esterni (ma se ti dà fastidio il sole del mattino, porta un cappello o degli occhiali da sole). Io ho scelto di sedermi fuori e, alle 8 del mattino, i muri evitano il sole diretto: con quella temperatura è stato davvero piacevole. (C’è qualche ape, ma il trucco è mettere un po’ di prosciutto cotto: ne vanno matte e ignorano tutto il resto! 😄) La colazione offre anche una grandissima varietà di prodotti. Molto comodo infine il parcheggio interno privato, disponibile a soli 10 euro a notte. Giusto per dare un giudizio completo: le camere non sono molto insonorizzate internamente, mentre verso l’esterno sì. Quindi, se qualche cliente è rumoroso nel corridoio, si può sentire. Inoltre, in sala colazione è presente una sola macchina per le bevande, e questo a volte può scoraggiare dal prendere qualcosa da bere, vista la fila. Grazie e… alla prossima!」

「Uns hat alles in grossen und ganzen gepasst, wir haben nur übernachtet und gefrühstückt im Hotel. Es fehlen in Zimmer Hotelschuhe, Hairecondicioner, Bodylotion. Keine Mäntel. Liegetücher kostenpflichtig.」

「Ein gutes 3Sterne Hotel, sauber, zum Frühstück gab es immer das gleiche, aber war ausreichend für uns alle. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt, es gab auch immer genügend Parkplätze da. Die Restaurants und Supermärkte sind fußläufig zu erreichen(ca.5-10Min)allerdings zurück läuft man bergauf( da das Hotel auf einem Hügel steht) Das Meer erreicht man auch in ca5-7Min zu Fuß.Der Pool ist zwar nicht beheizt, steht aber tagsüber in der Sonne, am Nachmittag ist das Wasser schon ganz angenehm.Das Meer ist dafür sehr kalt( zumindest jetzt noch -Ende Mai) Alles passt, empfehlenswert.」
