"Very soft bed. Sags in middle. Door locked during day. But food in restaurant was better than average except the order was wrong."

"Lovely country mansion with ample parking and nice gardens. The location is good for exploring the beautiful West Wales costal areas. The room my wife and I occupied was clean but in serious need of refurbishment, as are most of the communal areas - for example the restaurant has patches of wallpaper that appear to have been hastily applied to repair a sizeable area of the ceiling. The free wifi was very erratic in our bedroom and there is little or no phone signal, so no 4G. The room we occupied had an unpleasant smell from the kitchen at meal times. We only dined in the restaurant on our first evening, the food was acceptable (barely); service was slow. The hotel is clearly understaffed and breakfast service was particularly poor with an unacceptable 50-minute wait for a cooked breakfast. It was obvious that there was only one young lady trying to take orders and look after about 40 guests and likely just one (not very good) chef in the kitchen at breakfast time. The quality of the cooked breakfast was particularly poor with overcooked poached eggs and over-salted scrambled eggs. The cold buffet was very poorly stocked, not replenished and not what we expected from the prior reviews. The hotel informed me that EV charging was possible using a slow charger (3-pin plug); however this is located at the front of the main building and you simply cannot park your car safely for overnight charging without blocking in cars that are already parked opposite the (unmarked) EV charging area. The Falcondale is advertised as a 4-star hotel; however, the facilities, staffing and food are far from what I expect in a 4-star establishment. Based on my recent experience, whilst our time in Wales was most enjoyable, the Falcondale was a huge disappointment and not a hotel that I will return to in future or recommend to friends and family."

"ウェールズ屋内ボート選手権のためにランペターへ行きました。会場に近く、地元の施設からも遠すぎない場所を探していました。エヴァンジェリサはまさにその条件をすべて満たしていました。寝室のドアのそばに私が写っている写真を見て、敬遠しないでください。私は身長190cm以上あるのですが、このB&Bは背の高い人にも優しいので、ちょっと変わったところなので、写真を追加しておきました。本当に気に入りました！部屋は暖かく静かで、設備も充実していました。オーナーは温かく迎えてくれ、テイクアウトを頼むと伝えると、すぐにテーブルを用意してくれて、お皿とグラスも用意してくれました。朝食も素晴らしく、お腹いっぱいになりました。この地域を訪れるなら絶対に訪れるべき場所です。また訪れる際は必ず泊まりたいと思います。ありがとうございました。"
