This was my **third stay** at the hotel, and once again my experience was excellent. The location is exceptional, with easy access to the Haram, which greatly enhanced my Umrah experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was peaceful and uplifting. I was particularly impressed by the professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness of the staff, who were always willing to help and ensured that my stay was both comfortable and spiritually fulfilling. Everyone was incredibly helpful and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. The baggage storage process was remarkably straightforward and completely hassle‑free. The receptionist was exceptionally polite, answered all my questions with patience, and handled my check‑in exactly when I needed it. The designated prayer space was a thoughtful and much‑appreciated bonus that truly enhanced my stay. I required assistance at one point, and the service employee not only kept his word but responded promptly and professionally, coming up to check the room without delay. Overall, my stay genuinely exceeded my expectations. The level of care, efficiency, and warmth shown by the staff made the experience truly outstanding.

Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean (and fragrant lobby). We had a twin deluxe room with Haram view; spacious, comfortable and plush. Breakfast was also solid with good hours (6:00 to 10:30). We checked out on a Friday and they allowed us to check out after Jummah salah. The hotel is actually quite close to the Haram. From reviews online I was unsure, but in practice it's a few minutes walk to King Fahd Gate 79. For getting into the Haram I think it is quicker door-to-door than the Clock Tower hotels. For getting back from the Haram to the hotel, that is a bit longer depending on where you exit the masjid anddue to a slight uphill walk (nothing very demanding, non-elderly should be fine), though the walkway gets congested at busy times. Alternatively, there is a shuttle which takes you from the main hotel entrance to street level in less than 2 minutes; from there you take escalator/lift to the Haram. Would highly reccommend; only cons here would be no lotion in the bathroom and shower water pressure/temperature was not that high (very minor issues!)

It is not 5 star at all. At max it is 3 star. No basic amenities like iron board or shower gel. Worst soap i've ever used. It would scratch the skin. Staff did not know basic english.

The hotel was around 10 to 15 minutes walk to Masjid al Haram. The hotel was clean, comfortable and modern. It is quite new hotel. Their service was a bit slow and they need to improve a lot about that. Recommended only for the tight-budget travellers staying for a few days.

Services were good. Receptionist can speak English. Location is excellent, just few steps to Haram. Breakfast buffet was excellent

Anjum is a fantastic hotel for umrah. First of all they upgraded to a masjid haram view room for free. Second, they let us check out just after zuhr out of kindness to let us pray before leaving (other option is they hold onto the luggage). Third, they have a free breakfast buffet for guests (there are 2, go to floor B1 for the better bigger one) which had great food - fresh waffles, pancakes, falafels, eggs omelette or boiled and a few rotating warm dishes like french toast, some mince meat arab dishes, scrambled eggs, daal. They had a really good variety of breads, and also houmous and other bits. The location is great. Literally at the outside of the hotel is an escalator that goes down, and you walk out and in 5 minutes you are at the back side of the masjid. Make sure you use this escalator - dont go crossing the roads and roundabout and walk by the hilton, thats a long way around. Only downside is that the hotel leads to the backside of the mosque - the umrah gates 74 are a further walk around and take more time, maybe like 15 minutes (but with sore feet and slower pace can be longer). For the price i think the location is still worth it and hotel is absolutely amazing in all ways. Staff also very friendly If you will seriously struggle with mobility then the best is probably clocktower hotels that are literally in front of the umrah gates, not sure of their quality or else as they arent as new as anjum and nearby hotels, and anjum was cheaper and included an amazing breakfast and amenities. Would come again. I came from the UK..
