The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make their stay unforgettable. Their room was absolutely beautiful, clean and what a breathtaking view of the ocean! Truly amazing and relaxing stay - a home away from home in an abundance of excellence! The sound of the ocean and balcony view was one of many highlights that made this stay truly unforgettable! The food was exquisite, with dinner and breakfast being another highlight of their stay. But what truly made their experience special was the attention to detail and the way the hotel celebrated their anniversary in grandeur. The gifts, chocolates, flowers, and balloons were a lovely touch that made the occasion truly unforgettable. My parents were blown away by the hotel's excellence and the staff's dedication to providing a memorable experience. They left with lifelong memories and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. Five stars isn't enough – this hotel deserves a glowing review!

ゲートウェイ ショッピング モールの入り口の向かい側という便利な場所にあり、アクセスも簡単です。ゲスト用の安全な駐車場があります。道路の向かい側には飲食店が多数あり、選択肢に困ることはありません。清潔で安全です。客室は快適で、小型冷蔵庫とケトルが備わっています。フレンドリーで親切なスタッフ。

Location was perfect for the business I needed to transact in the greater Umhlanga area. Staff we ever supportive of needs, breakfast buffet was amazing even though for very few people and food was good quality, room/suite was very very comfortable and spacious, plus they had a sauna which was a nice touch after the gym. I would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel—it was my boyfriend’s first time visiting Durban, and this place completely blew his mind! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel welcome, even surprising us with a free room upgrade. Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city skyline—perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Durban. The location was unbeatable: just steps away from fantastic restaurants (we were spoiled for choice!), the beach, and even attached to a mall for ultimate convenience. Whether you’re looking for luxury, convenience, or just a stunning getaway, this hotel delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Umhlanga with easy access to everything. The room was lovely and super comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing,delicious and with plenty of options, which was a great way to start the day. However, the restaurant was way too hot. It felt like everyone was trying to grab a fan, and I honestly think they should either switch on the AC or find a better solution for cooling the space. The pool was nice and well-maintained, and it’s heated, but honestly, it felt a bit strange to swim in a hot pool during summer. I think the heated pool would be much more enjoyable during the cooler months, like in winter. Another downside is that they close the pool way too early….7 pm is pretty unreasonable, especially in a place like Umhlanga where you want to enjoy the evenings. Overall, it’s a good hotel with great amenities, but the restaurant temperature and early pool closure definitely need some attention.

The hotel is well located, with easy access to the beach. Unfortunately the room itself was very small, especially for the price being charged. Breakfast was also limited. Service at the hotel was good though. Good food available 24/7 via room service. Had an amazing mutton bunny at 1am that really hit the spot!!!

Плюсы: Симпатичный номер, красивый вид на океан из окна, хорошее местоположение и завтрак (даже мороженое дают), персонал помогает (например, купить вино). Завтрак на террасе с видом, можно там посидеть днём. Минусы: бутылки воды по 0.3л. Душ направлен на стену - помыться тот ещё квест, кран в ванне чуть ли не прилеплен к стенке и очень низкий. Шум от улицы и в коридоре. В целом, хорошо.
