" Inhospitable greeting from the owner who left our group to find our rooms in the dark and offered no help with finding food in the area after travelling all day. Rooms rather tatty ,breakfast service poor."

"This was our favorite B&B during our recent tour of SW France. The setting for the ancient, stone building is amazing, on the crest of the hill upon which perches 13th century Cordes-sur-Ciel. The decor has been tastefully and beautifully appointed by one of the owners, each suite is different with some modern flare and amenities. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly - our host basically left the house to us. The breakfast was wonderful - a full spread each morning, overlooking the valley below. We were the only guests at the time, and unfortunately (post Covid) Cordes does seem to be semi-deserted - but apart from the fact that it's hard to book a meal in town, that actually adds to the wonder of the place. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again."
