"Absolutely fantastic location for a wedding and we felt this hotel was very geared up for weddings. We wondered if emphasis is on events and making them perfect rather than the actual hotel rooms. The hospitality and service of the staff was also fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was an amazing choice and probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. All the food in the hotel was delicious from breakfast to the restaurant to the wedding meal. Food was faultless. Have not rated lower due to all of this but our room was very tired and in dire need of an update. Based on room alone we would have given two stars. The shower was broken and very poor pressure. The toilet seat and flush were broken and the shower curtain rail fell down on my husband’s head in the shower and the floor tiles in bathroom were cracked. If the rooms were upgraded in this hotel it would without a doubt be a 5 star hotel!"

"A very pleasant stay in a beautiful hotel with a stunning view of Clew Bay and the mountains. Room was gorgeous too and breakfast buffet was fantastic. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool and leisure facilities or spa but that was because the weather was simply too incredible and we spent all our time outside. Would definitely come back!"

My concern at booking was that there wouldn't be much to do in the area, but we had plenty to do between Moyne Abbey, Downpatrick Head, and exploring the tide pools outside the pods, my family and my toddler had plenty to do while still having quiet down time."

It is impeccable. All the tableware used for breakfast is exquisite silver. The service staff is super professional and enthusiastic, making people feel cared for and respected. Absolutely full marks, looking forward to coming again!"

"We arrived late evening, receptionist was friendly on arrival. Our room was quiet large and perfect for what we needed. There was a great buzz in the restaurant/bar area, quiet busy. Unfortunately we didn't sample breakfast as we had an early flight out of knock. I couldn't get my wifi to work on my phone and a lovely girl called Roisin got it sorted for me, lovely girl very helpful an asset to the team there. Great little hotel ideal for stopover and quick access to Knock airport for an early morning flight."
