"Booked this beautiful B and B as we were in the area visiting Powis Castle which is only a short drive away. We were in for a real treat, Ruth the owner has the most stunning property with impeccable taste and an eye for detail which is evident throughout. Ruth’s warm welcome makes you feel relaxed and at home as soon as you step inside the door. Homemade Welsh cakes and ample supply of tea, coffee etc were welcome after a long day. The room was furnished beautifully with top quality bedding, towels, robes and toiletries, in fact everything you need for your stay has been thought of. A beautiful sitting room is also available should you wish to watch tv as there isn’t one in the room which was no problem to us. Our room was peaceful and quiet with no noise issues whatsoever. The clock tower situated next door does not chime through the night, Breakfast was a real treat, we had the Welsh breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Thank you Ruth for letting us stay and we look forward to booking with you again in the near future. If I could give you 20 out of 5 stars I would have!"
