"We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this beautiful hotel. We loved the location, facilities and food. The staff across all meals are attentive, friendly and professional. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the spa, swimming in the lake, the beautiful pool area, hiking and visiting nearby villages and towns. The hotel up the road is worth a visit, good meal and fun rooftop bar but lacks the sophistication of our hotel. A member of staff recommended the local gym which was great too. "I recently stayed here for a girls trip and we were treated so well. We had a room that had a double bed and a put up single for the three of us, a lovely balcony, good air conditioning (thankfully as it was incredibly hot during our stay). Even though the hotel is on the main road it was not noisy. There is a kitchenette, fridge and a huge shower in the bathroom. All simply furnished but clean and cared for. Downstairs there is a lovely bar and wine shop and deli. The team, despite our Italian being non-existent and their not speaking too much English we got by and were warmly treated. The owner gifted us a bottle of wine which was such a nice gesture and on the day we left they gave us bottles of water for our journey. Fab. The lake is a short walk away as is the ferry stop. Cool swims in that lake was one of the highlights. So beautiful. We had an amazing three days and hope to return."
