"A nice relaxing hotel run and staffed by lovely people Robin was very helpful and flexible when booking and arranged a garage for our small scooter as only public parking was available. Booking in was a smooth process and our room was clean and comfortable we had a meal every night in the restaurant and to food was very good with seamless service by happy cheerful staff they have a good selection of beers. we had breakfast every day and i must say it was superb and good value with a excellent choice of buffet food. booking out was a swift process without being rushed. our room overlooked the main square and road but we were not disturbed by any noise. we will certainly use this hotel again. "When we booked this we did not realise that this place is actually a museum, Talbot House was a second home for the soldiers of WWI, acting as a place to escape the gruels of war. The staff is very friendly, besides a little dust the place is clean and well kept. It has a beautiful garden to relax in while you admire the work and plants. Breakfast has breads with a choice of sweet and salty toppings, many fruits, cereals, and a full array of drinks. The cat is an absolute cuddle-bug and very friendly, 10/10, would pet again. Can definitely recommend staying here, good price/quality ratio."
